Cif? I am going to do this this week so hope it works Grin

Cleanbean · 06/04/2015 18:22

Sugar soap

woowoo22 · 06/04/2015 18:24

What is that... will Google.

BathTangle · 06/04/2015 18:30

Another vote for sugar soap: tis fab! Also really good for washing painted walls.

grenedeer · 06/04/2015 19:11

Where do I buy sugar soap? Don't remember seeing it in the supermarket.

OrinocoTheWomble · 06/04/2015 19:22

I use White Spirit! Comes up a treat. Bit smelly though.

PrimalLass · 06/04/2015 19:25

Yellow spray Flash.

VenusRising · 06/04/2015 19:28

Baby wipes work brilliantly, and also on stainless steel.

Onetwothreeoops · 06/04/2015 19:29

Definitely the magic sponge stuff. It cuts through it like its nothing. Can't recommend it enough for grease.

Westendgal · 06/04/2015 19:35

Sugar soap sold in Homebase and the likes...near decorating supplies.

pinkrocker · 06/04/2015 19:37

That magic sponge is witchcraft in a box. Cleans everything.

Wotsup · 06/04/2015 19:39

LOADS of washing up liquid on a none scratch scrubby side sponge. Then wipe off with a damp cloth. That's how I do it.

bonzo77 · 06/04/2015 19:41

Elbow grease

showtunesgirl · 06/04/2015 19:45

Anything with orange oil in it.

lastlines · 06/04/2015 19:47

Washing up liquid or bio washing powder dissolved in v hot water (use gloves.) All the purpose-made sprays are useless. Sugar soap is good too - you buy it at hardware stores.

dementedma · 06/04/2015 19:47

We bought a small hand held steamer thingy.wow! Can't believe the difference in the tiles, the oven hood and the cupboard doors. Good fun too!

Ruhrpott · 06/04/2015 19:49

Fairy power cleaner works great

WhatWouldMaLarkinDo · 06/04/2015 19:49

If you can get to a hardware shop buy something called wonder wipes - they're brilliant but they do melt your nail polish!

tethersend · 06/04/2015 19:52

I just freestyles and made a paste of bicarb, vinegar and washing up liquid- pasted it on to the tiles, left for 20 mins, wiped off grease which hasn't shifter for years months.

Never a dull moment here, oh no.

peggyundercrackers · 06/04/2015 19:54

Cif cream

unlucky83 · 06/04/2015 19:54

another vote for Bicarb of soda - it is magic.
Dip a damp cloth in the dry powder and then wipe on and the grease melts away. You need to keep rinsing your cloth in soapy water (or replace the cloth) to get rid of the grease on it ...
Try it - you will (I promise) be amazed...

loismustdieatyahoodotcom · 06/04/2015 21:27

I've tried yellow flash and a lot of elbow grease but no luck. I think I'll try some bicarb as I have that in cupboard and i have sugar soap so I'll try that if needed. If all else fails I'll try the magic sponge, is it from wilkos ? Thanks for all the answers
