If you really do three loads of washing a day....

That?s 21 a week, right? What are you actually washing? I?m not having a go, just interested (following ?how many times? thread) in how many people claim to do this much washing.

Yes, some days I might do 3 loads (if one of the kids has a night accident eg) but the next day probably none.
Are you mega washers really doing 21 washes a week? Are you all really dirty? what?s your laundry list, come on, I need to know if there is laundry I am failing to do.
(I have three DCs btw)

NdP.

I want that machine!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 02/11/2006 11:45

nah - doesn't help at all - I want to be able to do all my washing quickly and in a LOT fewer loads than I do.

Mind you - just found the instructions manual for my washer/dryer out of the depths of the filing cabinet.....and discovered that it's not the 5kg drum I thought it was......it's a 4.5kg drum!!! I WANT MY NEW WASHING MACHINE NOW

NomDePlume · 02/11/2006 11:46

lol @ washing machine envy

expatinscotland · 02/11/2006 11:48

Ours is miniscule.

In fact, today I'm doing three loads.

ludaloudbang · 02/11/2006 11:48

wow NDP where do you put the mammouth washing machine??????????????? Can you fit duvets in it too???

Where did you get it from? I WANT ONE {{{stamps feet in a Little Miss Jocelyne stylee}}}

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 02/11/2006 11:49

I've done a load today - and will probably do another 2/3 (at least). Got an overflowing basket full of clothes/sheets etc that need cleaning - and I'm working the next three nights.....

doormat · 02/11/2006 11:51

yes we all shower every day

just coz we shower doesnt make our clothes clean though does it

Tiggiwinkle · 02/11/2006 11:55

I have a 9KG machine (its a Bosch one)!

Ane I still do 3 loads a day-but there are 7 of us (I have 5 DSs).

NomDePlume · 02/11/2006 11:56

lud - Can do duvets but my big ole kingsize monster won't quite fit in (deeply irritating as it's only too big by about 10cm of fabric ). Can wash dbl duvets and singles without problems

PeachyBobbingParty · 02/11/2006 11:56

Mine IS full to capacity actually, DS3 isn't as dry as he should be for his age and DS1 has poor hand control and spills all his food. Then there's DH's work clothes, he ahs a white shirted uniform in a print environment (sensible huh?) and the kitten wee's himself rather a lot yet (rescued animal)....

rather the washing than the stink of urine everywhere

Oh and I get eczma so clean towels a must I'm afraid

NomDePlume · 02/11/2006 11:57

(lud, it was from Comet or Dixons, it goes in my utility. It's no bigger than a normal machine, it just has a bigger drum)

Tiggi - 9kg !

PeachyBobbingParty · 02/11/2006 11:57

Oh and I have a 7k machine too.

Thank goodness.

NomDePlume · 02/11/2006 11:58

Tiggi, I'm assuming this is the beast ?

TheDaVinciCod · 02/11/2006 11:59

i do three

Tiggiwinkle · 02/11/2006 12:01

Thats the one NDP. I nust admit I love it! I used to have a similarly sized top loader, but this is much better.

NomDePlume · 02/11/2006 12:02

Have just spooted that LG do a 10kg one

NomDePlume · 02/11/2006 12:02

(spotted)

PeachyBobbingParty · 02/11/2006 12:04

this is mine, I love it like a friend

ludaloudbang · 02/11/2006 12:06

Ok rogue small childs toy successfully inserted in the hope of it breaking my washing machine..... and then I can persuade dh we need a new one

NomDePlume · 02/11/2006 12:08

lol

We used to have a crappy, tiny Zanussi. Never again. The engineer to came out to look at our machine when it died said he was called out to more Zanussis can any other manufacturer.

TheDaVinciCod · 02/11/2006 12:08

or whirlpool
bosch

NomDePlume · 02/11/2006 12:08

than any other

(can't type today)

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 02/11/2006 12:11

have to say one thing about my tiny little machine - we've never had to call anyone out to fix it.....and we've had it 5 1/2yrs now - so thumbs up to "Servis" for that one (but why they make one so sodding small I don't know )

ludaloudbang · 02/11/2006 12:12

mines a servis too! have to say it keeps going.....

PeachyBobbingParty · 02/11/2006 12:12

In our last house though we had a dishwasher that must have been 10, 15 years old at least- that was a Zanussi and it worked fine.
