I've just found the most amazing space-saving outdoor washing line thingy

This could win an award for dullest thread of the year BUT I had to come on and rave. We haven't got room for a proper rotary airer and haven't got walls/fence panels to hang a decent washing line on. I've been dragging the indoor airer outside all the time, which is an arse - but I've just bought this for £15 in Argos, it's a foldable, portable outdoor rotary airer.

Small things in life obviously please me, but this is amazing. A full washing machine and it's barely filled half the airer! And when the washing is dry it's just going to fold into a little bag that can go in the cupboard.

I'm never excited about laundry. I am today

On the website, someone has asked 'what country is this item made in'. The answer from Argos is 'Hello thank you for your question, unfortunately despite research we have not been able to find the exact source of this item at present.'

So it's maybe not surprising it's out of stock everywhere, since presumably the people at the big Argos warehouse just have to kind of hang around until some turn up, as if by magic

Maybe Santa makes them!

Is it good for large items like bed sheets? Can you more than one on?

You could get four on if folded. One on each side. I have large bath sheets which are heavy and they go on no problem.

I did washing yesterday morning. I hung it at about midday. I brought it back in again and had it all put away by 5. After years of living in flats I can't tell you how happy this made me Even DP noticed the other day that the clean bedsheets smelled nice...

I've got one on reserve too, I'm hoping it'll cope with the wind in our garden.

Some help please Thurlow/Big Area- picked mine up today and I am sure I mist just be being really daft because I can not get the thing to open more than a tiny bit before it appears to jam :( It's gone all cloudy now so will have to try it inside if I can manage to open it
