moving shortly and the house has a downstairs wc and seperate utility,

i plan to move them both and reposition the kitchen to a bigger brighter space,

i would love a space for washer/dryer, ironing pile, hanging racks, sink, loo and if possible a downstairs shower,

what do you think and how small/big do you feel it would need to be,

there is a big window already in the area i plan to move the room to.

thanks,

links to pics/ideas?

My DSIS put her laundry bits in an upstairs cupbaord to save on schlepping up and down the stairs with washing.
She does have a futility room as well and a sink that can be used for muddy boots etc.

Pannacotta
It's in a sort of walk in cupboard, so think that does sound proof it - it has a door. (dunno where it drains actually...never thought about it)
but it is on a lot during the day (big family my sis) so maybe not so much in the eves?
Her DC also q good sleepers Envy
