We were out to lunch for my mum's birthday yesterday and I had the spiciest pizza on the menu in the hope that it would help things along - hot pepperoni and red chillis. Perhaps I'll get DH to put spicy pizza on the shopping list too...

JKS - I have help, but at one point due to DH and PIL's disorganisation crap diary management and needing help getting their priorities straight it was going to be just me and a van and two DC to look after.

I now have physical assistance with moving the big stuff (DH and FIL can do Friday evening, DH and I can do Saturday) And childcare is covered by my BF being a complete star and picking DC up from school Friday and having them for half the day on Saturday.

Really lazy weekend here, watched several rugby matches and all the F1. Yummy roast yesterday.
DH is away with work from tomorrow pm until Saturday morning, so I'm off down to my parents tomorrow. We were going there at the weekend anyway for a get together with some of my cousins so I will have almost a whole week away with childcare assistance - yay!

JKS - I'm getting impatient too. 19 weeks to go here! :)

Comtessa - OMG how exciting!! Baby knows it is allowed to come now that the new bed is here! Hope things get going again for you - no tips here, I went 10 days over and was induced

Anon yep, defo not sure about any Alan Partridge vibes but it's just the current DVD from lovefilm. PIL are staying 20 minutes away. Just called them to say that I'm going to try and sleep as things seem to have eased off so if they want to pop round later to help me put pram together that would be fine. They are very good about being hands-off unless called upon, despite DH being only child.

DH's work is only 15 minutes away by tram, and he can get to hospital by cab from work as soon as I can from here.

Sorry not to have more exciting news to report. Things definitely happening still, but just quietly and sporadically so will make the most (and risk slowing things down further) by taking nap.

Been fairly productive today, lots of time on the phone (ear and jaw ache now!). had a complete barney at some poor guy from BT. They can't switch my line to the new house until two weeks today, so I have the prospect of 10 days with no phone (and mobiles don't work in this area) or broadband panics at thought of no slatterns to keep me going. Anyway, it wasn't his fault, it's the previous tenant whose supplier hasn't turned their end of the line off yet.... despite the fact that she moved out over a week ago...... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
