At first glance I thought I liked it. Second glance I thought, "Hmm, maybe not so much, it's a bit twee". Third glance I noticed the incongruously sturdy base and thought, "Heavens, no!"

Sorry op, I don’t feel strongly either way. It’s not something that I would have. I’m an artist (not always a great one) hence my did you make it question 😂 but @Lavenderwindow is quite right, it came across incredibly rudely and I am sorry for that.

I would like it more without the black piping around the top and bottom of the shade.

It does remind me of a bedside reading lamp my mum bought me in the 1980's. It was a fluffy squirrel toy and the squirrel was holding the pink, stripey lamp. Now you have me thinking about that lamp, I loved it so much!
