Deluxe Natural Hessian looks yellow! Pics

I decided on Natural Hessian as we have a large, dark living room and I wanted a beige with a blush/pink undertone to lighten it up.

However, I bought the tester for it and it looks really yellow on my walls, more like an buttermilk. Obviously the lighting etc but absolutely not what I wanted.

It’s the one on the right in the pic with 2. The other one was almond white which looks too cold for me. This wall is furthest from natural light. The blue wall is nearest the window.

Any recommendations on a beige with pink undertones that doesn’t look yellow?! I’m desperate now as we’re supposed to start painting the walls on Monday and I’m back to square one.

@Offcom that made me smile.
And so much better than all the poetic F&B names.
Which I do like reading but are a bit poncy now.

Also not the point, but I'm having paint regret right now, about a paint I bought and regretted, then used in a different place and loved, now used it on the front door and it looks tragic (in a place EVERYONE CAN SEE IT). And a new neighbour revealed in passing that he's a painter and decorator so also fretting over the poor finish AND poor colour choice. Even though we all know that no one gives a shit (especially because it looks insipid rather than being actively offensive).

Anyway, in hunting for a new front option I came across this brilliantly named colour:

That’s cheered me right up 😂. At least the neighbours haven’t come to point and comment. I’ve managed to keep my dad at bay as he’s very ‘slow and steady, get the job done right’ and we’d still be painting on Easter weekend!

We’ve finished the undercoat (the blue walls needed 2 coats 😫) today, now DS is back so having a cuppa and then we’ll start again tomorrow.

I find it exceptionally difficult to tell from sample pots! I can tell if it looks good with furniture /curtains /etc. But if doing a whole room from scratch - I can't tell which shade of tasteful neutral will be nice and which will be bleak & depressing.
I like the scary colours, but don't want every room in them.

This is why my whole house is painted in Dulux Timeless. I’ve made so many mistakes with colours in the past and couldn’t afford to rectify it! I know what I’m getting and it goes with everything!
