How much would you pay for this floral decoration?

I've recently started making these home floral decorations. How much would you pay for one of these if anything. I understand they may not be everyones taste. The plant pot is made from concrete and is quite heavy. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Nothing, I wouldn't even want it if it was free to be honest.
But we all have different tastes

This.

Thanks for all the replies so far and in answer to some questions.

The concrete pot is actually an outdoor planter, I've attached a photo before paint.

I've also attached a photo with a can of drink for size reference.

We actually sell the planters on their own for £20 so I was curious to know how much someone might pay as a decoration instead.

The flowers I used were foam, and this was my first attempt, so it is a big rough.

What colour pot/flowers would make it more saleable?

I would pay more for the original planter (£20 is a great price!) than the after version which (sorry) I really would not buy or even keep it if was free

The original planter is lovely. I wouldn’t buy (or keep if I was given) the final product.

Thanks for all the feedback and advice. I'm going to try a more natural looking pot and more colourful taller flowers.

Or some more muted colours, perhaps for the beige and greige decor.(I am yellowey/straw/ sandy)
I like the idea of a cement pot (will rescue from garden) filled with sagey muted greenery and a few white flowers for my porch.
You have given me some ideas, thanks.

I am going to try something using these flowers in a light coloured pot, maybe white.

Much nicer. Though still plastic.

Apols. I see they are silk cloth.

The style looks like grave ornament to me - which from a business perspective you can charge more for than a standard garden ornament but would have to be marketed the right way.

Pyjamatimenow · 15/09/2024 10:51

It’s extremely ugly and cheap looking.

gardenmusic · 15/09/2024 11:00

OP, do you have access to lots of pots? I am getting that vibe?
If so, could we see some of them, please?
Speaking of grave ornaments, if you plan on this, it might be an idea to check what is allowed locally - there is not much allowed around here.
How about planting up some pots with bulbs, for spring time sale? There are lots of websites showing how to layer the planting for a longer display.

mondaytosunday · 15/09/2024 14:33

No if I really liked the base (which I don't, I hate that you can see the join), and it only came with the flowers I'd chuck the flowers out. So having them adds no value. Also if I was going to have fake flowers I wouldn't buy such a heavy garden pot!

GogAndMagog · 15/09/2024 14:55

It looks rather Victorian Gothic and suited to a graveyard.

Agree, not for me, looks very grim, would not buy it. Maybe google image some brighter floral displays or make Halloween 🎃 or Christmas themed table centrepieces. This one screams Funeral to me.
