Creative ideas needed to disguise a row of wall mounted sockets

I’ve just moved to a new flat. It’s rented but I can put stuff up on walls. Has anyone any ideas how to disguise this row of sockets? My sofa is opposite so most people would put the tv there but I watch/listen to everything on my iPad. It seems too low for a shelf. Other than buying a sideboard (which seems a waste as I don’t need one) how could I disguise or cover them up?

Thanks. I need storage for larger things like suitcases, hoover, mop and bucket etc so a sideboard isn't quite what I need but I think it's going to be an option. I'm going to experiment propping pictures up and plants first before getting more furniture

Hi @MsDirection I think some sort of seating would be good- especially if it's opposite your sofa- that would look quite social- what about a padded bench with nice cushion?

Don't know if this looks nice but would do the job?

Summercompanion. A bench opposite the sofa would be good. Plus I can look for one with storage which I’m short of too. The one in the link isn’t quite my taste but that concept is definitely one I’ll have a Google for. Thanks for the idea.

You maybe need an ottoman? Storage + seating.

Wayfair do lots - I've got one a bit like this, it's great - the one I have is out of stock but smaller than this one.

worriedaboutmoney22. I hadn’t thought about putting the kallax (or similar) on the wall. I think that could be the solution I’m after. I really need space for some craft stuff. I can also use the top as a shelf. Thanks for this.

A bookcase, possibly on wheels or castors to slide (so you can access sockets) or with no back (like, is it Ikea's Kallax units?) to put your hand through if needed. Can put a mix of decorative objects, actual books, plants etc on it.
