Which colour for Range cooker in navy kitchen

Please, I need opinions as I am totally struck with indecision!!!! (This is not a new state of mind for me😫)
Kitchen units will be a dark navy almost charcoal blue. Worktops will be white quartz with a soft grey marble type look. Tap is brushed bronze. So are handles. White ceramic sink. Stainless fridge freezer. Oak parquet floor.

I need to order appliances now but I am almost paralysed with indecision😣.

I know it's up to me to make a decision but what are your thoughts of wise ones? I just want it to look beautiful!

I've been looking at the smeg ones as hey are within my price range and I like the styling and the fact they have 2 ovens and not the 3. But they come in a light cream shade, stainless steel which looks a bit "mirror-y" on the doors or black.

Please advise which in your opinion would be nicest.
Also if you have a dark navy kitchen - what cooker have you gone for?
I'm so excited by the kitchen but the actual decision making I find so overwhelming j am almost consumed by something which is actually a lovely thing eg having a new kitchen.
Thank you xxxx

Stainless steel to match the fridge. If you check different brands some will be less shiny than others.

Sofasurfingsally · 05/06/2019 15:34

You could go wild and Ha e turquoise or green, if it exists.

foreverblessedbee · 05/06/2019 17:20

Dont add any more colour options to my already confused brain!

I'm thinking cream or stainless. Think on reflection the black would be too dark.

Anyone else care to offer style opinion? I cant find any images when I'm googling navy kitchen and cream range. It just brings up cream kitchens.

I would have the appliances match. I don't think the cream colour would look right at all, especially because you have a white sink and white marble counter tops.

Thanks aquamarine.... so , stainless steel?
Anyone else have a navy kitchen they want to tell me about? X

Just curious... Why have you chosen brushed bronze tap and handles when you have a stainless fridge? Especially given that you will have a white sink and white marble worktops.

foreverblessedbee · 05/06/2019 20:06

Really liked the look of the bronze against the navy, looked lovely. Thought if have a tap to match just to be a bit different. I originally liked copper handles and a copper tap but thought that would date more so. I think the stainless fridge will be fine it's just what colour range to put it with. Just seen my sister in laws black stoves range, it looks lovely with her cream units. Like I say I'm blighted with bloody indecision and was just hoping for some input xxx

John Lewis's own brand ranges are Smeg if that gives you more options. But definitely stainless steel.

SwedishEdith · 05/06/2019 20:15

Just looked and doesn't look like they do their own brand any more Shock

foreverblessedbee · 05/06/2019 21:34

Thank you Edith. I will keep looking. I just thought that cream/whitewould lighten it up and make the range stand out. My last couple of ovens have been stainless steel and the one we inherited with this house is stainless but with a very shiny "mirror finish" which always looks filthy. Is it really a no- no for the cream, in your opinions? If I could just find a flippin picture I could tell straight away if it would work or not but cant find an imagine of what I'm trying to achieve.

I like the idea of a bright colour like turquoise or cobalt blue. I think it’s nice when a range cooker stands out as a focal point rather than blends in.

peachgreen · 05/06/2019 21:44

Personally I'd go black. Lots of nice images on Google.

Yellowfairy · 05/06/2019 22:58

Have you looked at the lacanche range? They are stunning and do quite a few colour options and you can have brass fittings. The mist colour would be lovely in a dark blue kitchen.

bebeboeuf · 06/06/2019 21:27

I’d have an orange range

bebeboeuf · 06/06/2019 21:28

I was looking at a Bertazzoni one

DinnySkipper · 06/06/2019 21:36

Cream, definitely.

Thank you for replying! I've looked at the ones which yellow fairy suggested, and they are indeed absolutely gorgeous....sadly I cant spend that amount of money!!! Beautiful thoughGrin I managed to find an actual image on the ao website earlier of a cream in a very similar kitchen to my planned one and it just looked too yellow! Almost like buttermilk against the quartz white. However, i did find a stoves one in metallic silver - so it wouldnt have the cleaning issues of a shiny stainless steel front - which is my only issue, but I think the colour may be nicer. I've also seen a delonghi grey one but not aire about buying a rand I dont particularly have experience of.

Bebeboeuf - I love the very brightly coloured ones but again I think for the size and needing at least a double oven I wouldnt be able to spend that money. I've been looking at smeg, stoves and rangemaster. Bellingham also looks nice but not sure of the quality. Has anyone got a range they can reccomend???

I love my Rangemaster. had it for 10 years and no problems at all, Can feed 12 for Christmas dinner with no problem at all, it has great features like a pull out grill, which makes me very happy! and, oven shelf attached to the door so no burningthe top of your arms if you need to baste or turn things. They do a slate grey which might work.

OrganisedKitchenDraws · 07/06/2019 00:01

Cream, that stainless will drive you mad trying to keep it looking pristine.

foreverblessedbee · 07/06/2019 04:50

That's what I thought, organisedkitchendraws !

The Rangemaster cream is lovely but it is that buttermilk kind of colour that you mention. Having said that i’d probably still have that in almost any kitchen because I love it.

amazonianwoman · 07/06/2019 23:36

Brushed stainless steel (doesn't show fingerprints so much) or white. Or maybe grey. Not cream.

Friend has dark blue kitchen with marble worktops and a white range (Aga, not suggesting one of those though!) and it looks fab.

Smeg range cookers got poor reviews when I last looked about 5 years ago. Rangemaster are ok for the price.
