Which colour for Range cooker in navy kitchen

Please, I need opinions as I am totally struck with indecision!!!! (This is not a new state of mind for me😫)
Kitchen units will be a dark navy almost charcoal blue. Worktops will be white quartz with a soft grey marble type look. Tap is brushed bronze. So are handles. White ceramic sink. Stainless fridge freezer. Oak parquet floor.

I need to order appliances now but I am almost paralysed with indecision😣.

I know it's up to me to make a decision but what are your thoughts of wise ones? I just want it to look beautiful!

I've been looking at the smeg ones as hey are within my price range and I like the styling and the fact they have 2 ovens and not the 3. But they come in a light cream shade, stainless steel which looks a bit "mirror-y" on the doors or black.

Please advise which in your opinion would be nicest.
Also if you have a dark navy kitchen - what cooker have you gone for?
I'm so excited by the kitchen but the actual decision making I find so overwhelming j am almost consumed by something which is actually a lovely thing eg having a new kitchen.
Thank you xxxx

I nipped into currys after school and the rangemaster kitchener in black did look lovely too I cant find many reviews for delonghi. The build quality does look good but its sp hard to get an actual feel of something until 8ts there in front of you.

This was the other one. Over 500 pounds more though. This is why I'm so keen to make the right choices! Once this kitchen is finished I cant ever imagine having the money to do it all again! Although I suppose you never know what the future holds!

That last slate one is lovely - I think it would look fab. I have just had a navy kitchen fitted (navy base units/white eye level) and I went for a stainless steel belling. But I have got some slate grey le Cruset stuff to accessorise and I think the colour goes in very well.

MrsBobDylan · 08/06/2019 19:03

Also, I wouldn't go cream with white or black with navy - I think they are too close to really compliment each other.

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 08/06/2019 19:11

The first slate grey one is lovely.

I've got this one OP in Slate Grey but I nearly went for the China Blue. It's an amazing cooker, I'm thrilled with it.

OneMoreForExtra · 08/06/2019 19:19

I have white doors, green faux-granite tops, grey slate floors and a deep Technic green range. I love it. YYY to PP who suggested orange, turquoise etc!

foreverblessedbee · 08/06/2019 21:51

Thank you for the opinions, I'm very grateful. I do love the one you linked to pronies, beautiful! Out of my budget though. I think I am now ready to make my final decision!
Price wise and colour wise I am going to decide between the slate grey delonghi and the slate rangemaster.
I need your final thoughts! I'm afraid theres no incentive for voting lol like on ITV shows! But just know you will have taken pressure off this woman with a boggled mind out there in cyberspace!
(((Cyberspace?! Bloody hell I sound like I'm a hundred. Is it 1990? See! This is what this kitchen is doing to meConfused )))

My only tip would be to look at both, we've luckily got a great independent electrical store near us who did a wide selection of ranges. What I'd chosen online was horrid in reality - several buttons/dials didn't look like they'd last a year let alone longer. That's how we ended up with the Falcon.

And read lots of reviews online.

That's the problem I have, Ithere is no one nearby that stocks them. Especially the delonghi. We are in east mids xx

I photograph a lot of granite/quartz for an importer so I see a lot of finished kitchens. I also have a white marbled effect quartz in my kitchen.

Whatever you do don't put cream next to a white quartz!!! I can't stress it enough, just don't do it!

My vote would be stainless to match the fridge. Get yourself some stainless steel cleaner and it will stay 'clean' looking longer. I wouldn't throw another colour into the mix. I'd stick with your navy, white, wooden floor, bronze tap and stainless appliances. I've seen a similar kitchen and it worked lovely.

foreverblessedbee · 08/06/2019 23:19

Smile thank you. The only reason I wanted to avoid stainless steel - I love the look of it - is literally the cleaning and trying to keep it looking nice and free from smears and mark's. Seriously, the cooker I've inherited in this house is stainless steel and glass/ mirror finish/% bright and shiny and it always looks filthy. Maybe it's me or maybe it's the particular oven or maybe I need to increase my cleaning standards ( but I am clean!!) But believe you me 8ts puff me off for life. Whereas the fridge I've chosen, and seen it in the showroom, barely shows anything. And that is stainless steel?! I've had mine and my 5 year olds hands all over in the name of research!!!

Rangemaster Elise in white or stainless steel. Not black with navy. Definitely not cream.

I now have an inherited cream Aga which is a bugger to match with painted units (I don't want a cream kitchen) and the black top shows every splash/fleck of dust.

I've had a bigger version of the Elise, it was a great range cooker.

Falcon are better but cost more. A friend has a brushed stainless steel Falcon and it doesn't show fingerprints/dirt. And she's a VERY messy cook. Falcon and Rangemaster made by the same company.

PeoniesarePink · 09/06/2019 19:27

My slate grey is very easy to keep clean and doesn't seem to show much in the way of dirt/marks.

Our crappy Samsung side by side fridge freezer has been enough to put me off anything stainless for life.

PregnantOnPurpose · 09/06/2019 19:30

Stainless steel for a more modern look.

Cream for a more farmhouse look.

I bloody love cream and navy for kitchens.

bobbypinseverywhere · 09/06/2019 19:37

what "look" are you going for? as that should make the decision for you really.
Agree as above - country then cream or grey
modern then stainless steel

please consider the actual function of the oven rather than just the style too. you haven't mentioned what size you are getting. the 90cm range masters - the narrow tall oven is basically useless - a standard baking tray/ pizzas etc won't fit so do consider that as well.i believe the 100cm ovens on the ringmaster are much better sizes.

i have a stoves richmond and its fantastic. but i was going for the 'country' feel. however it functions beautifully.

bobbypinseverywhere · 09/06/2019 19:38

sorry so many spelling mistakes! autocorrect.

trickyex · 09/06/2019 21:20

I like the slate rangemaster (had a similar one in a previous house and was easy to keep clean) but do check the functions and oven sizes, lots of reviews mention how narrow the second over is in the 90cm size as boppy says.

foreverblessedbee · 09/06/2019 21:50

I wa going on my sister in law being really happy with her 90cm stoves and using the taller /smaller alot. I was thinking the cavities would be very similar with it being the same width and configuration. I will have another look! Every time I'm at the point of getting it to he basket online I second guess myself again! Honestly I just need to make a bloody adult decision! Thank you all for helping me.
