Where to go? Thinking of Tywcross Zoo or Flamingo Land maybe???

Trying to decide what to do tomorrow. Just me, Dh and 3yo DD.

So far our thoughts are probably Twycross Zoo.

Or the another alternative is maybe Flamingo Land.

Or somewhere else????

Anyone have any advice/recommendations one way or the other?

There is a "Sheffield Mayfest" at Hillsborough Park or Noddy and Friends Bank Holiday Fun Day at Elsecar Heritage Centre (wherever that is!)

Birdland is Bourton on the Water is fab and in fact BOTW is just lovely anyway

Don't fancy the Mayfest TBH. Will be full of the local teens, and very busy.

DD is keen on the zoo at the moment, so looks like Twycross.

Oh really? Drat.

Anyone know type of rides that are there, and height restrictions. DD is borderline 1m.

And found out that Twycross is too small for a full day out too.

Birdland I am assuming is all birds - which DH would hate.

And not keen on going round houses - and done Chatsworth Farm lots already.

So maybe back to drawing board.

Already been there too - and again would only take an hour or so max to go round. And I hated all those butterflies round my head!

Can't believe I am finding it so hard to decide.

Also done Eureka, Magna, Sundown/Pets Corner, The Deep, etc lots before too.

Not sure if DH would be too bothered though, as just for children - no adult interest possibly.

Why not stay in with e nice DVD and some popcorn?

LOL! We are so awkward today - no idea why.

Looked at Gullivers and think DD would love it SO LONG AS she is allowed on most of the rides. Although she is only 3, she adores the rides - the bigger the better! Wonder if adults can go on them with her - which is what she prefers (being able to share the experience I guess).

Hmmm.

No swimming for me at moment. Dh already suggested that.
