and would like to share it with me? and [anal retentive emoticon]

[lazy emoticon]

Of the driving to France with lots of kiddy kit kind. The kind of kit I can't possibly forget otherwise we're gonna have to drive back 800 miles or spend a HUGE amount of Euros replacing pushchairs etc.

And while I'm on... Best exchange rate gamble please? Buy some Euros now? Wait a coupla weeks? Buy em in France?

Ta. Now if you could just come over and actually DO my packing I'll lick your face.

Wilfsell - That list you found is seriously odd and mega long, you would need to tie the kids to the roof of the car to take that lot

I know what a camelbac is [smug] What on earth is an underwear belt? Dare I ask?

Chocolatebunnyrabbit · 09/04/2009 15:18

YG.. now that sounds like an interesting list. Where is it?? I want it....

Oh now I'm jealous - bunnyrabbit you may have to get Mumsnet to publish it. How can I get a copy,

McRobi · 26/06/2009 22:59

Wow !

I can't believe this thread - I haven't had such a laugh in ages, but I'm so glad to see there are others out there panicking as they too don't have their lives set out in spreadsheets. I used to do lists of what to pack for holiday, but haven't given it a thought since the arrival of my little boy, but with 4 weeks to go before our first family holiday, I'm now getting stressed!

I too want to join the spreadsheet revolution and buy my own laminator!

Dearest Bunnyrabbit _ I know I'm late to add to this thread, but I'd be forever indebted to you if you could send me a copy of your list. nicola at mcrob dot demon dot co dot uk. Thanks!

PDR · 05/07/2009 09:14

bunnyrabbit if you see this would you mind emailing me your packing spreadsheet?

[Wishes she was more organised]

I see you are super organised and have several different ones so ideally one with a baby/toddler in mind, longhaul, beach hotel.

Thanks in advance!!!

Address is:- rachel mugambi at hotmail dot co dot uk

Rofl I love love lists. My whole life is listed or I forget what to do.

I ought to have

  1. Breathe in
  2. Breathe out

A spreadsheet though?! Now you're talking. And as for a laminated list with wipe off pens... Nirvana

bred · 05/07/2009 10:00

I'm a list addict too. I even had one for my wedding, to remind me of the proceedings:

aisle
Altar
Hymn

Seriously, for hols: list on pc - summer and winter versions. Inc emergency numbers eg nhs direct, local drs at destination (guess who's had to use their services). List updated yearly as DC grow older - swap armbands for nintendo etc.

Also listed - stuff to do before leaving - clean fridge etc.

List of food we order for del on hol and our return.

Ahhhhhh.

PDR · 05/07/2009 10:14

Anyone who feels like their list might help me send it on over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Email is in last post!

bred am loving the idea of list for food delivery on day of return! after packing list is done I might start on that [v bored at work emoticon]
