Mark Warner / Powder Byrne - who are the other holiday operator's offering child care facilities

Hi

I've looked at MW and PB but I wondered if there were other companies of a similar ilk that provide great holidays with child care facilities thrown in? Whilst I'm not looking for DD to go into creche all day, the odd morning might be nice. Ideally we are looking at Italy. Any suggestions / recommendations?

you have to do around the cut and paste address.

thanks MS. And as came to type my reply to you I have of course now spotted the instructions under the 'Links and Smileys' header. Note to self - open eyes wider and look properly!

Thanks all for the comments and advice. I will go and look at all the sites you mentioned. One thing we won't be doing is going to Corsica with MW!!

Another vote for Lykia World. We went a couple of years ago and it was fab. But Not Cheap! We have also done MW twice and we loved it - but accommodation basic but clean. Food was great when were there. Still would say the best child care EVER is on a cruise. Specially P and O. Have you thought about club med? Haven't got any experience but it is supposed to be good. Club Sani/Oceania/Forte Village all look great but too expensive!

Forte Village
Coastline Villas

I'm thinking of Lykia World as the childcare looks fab for DD who is 2y.o. Went there about 7 years ago when I worked for Thomas Cook (pre kids) and it was lovely.

Only problem I'm having is convincing DH that the rooms will be ok as we usually do apartments. Can anyone who's been to Lykia World let me know whether the normal double rooms are better in the Village or the Residence for two adults and a toddler?

The brand new Lykia World Antalya hotel on Turkey's Mediterranean coast looks good, and some friends of a friend recommended it, but from what I can tell it is in a very isolated position.

Look at Scott Dunn. They have great childcare options in their Ski and Mediterranean programmes. Either luxury villas in Mallorca and Portugal which come with a chef, host and UK qualified childcare. Or they run their own children's clubs in Pine Cliffs and soon to be at Borgo Egnazia in Italy.
