sorry bensmum, i did mean to post last week but have been doing an essay on and off and keep forgetting what i logged onto the pc for!!

red flags- absolute no no, silly as it sounds could cause major probs especially in larger , busier stations, the guards use the red flags to inform a train to stary stationary at the platform.
same goes with green, the guard uses this flag to inform the driver its safe to go- you could imagine the pandemonium if the guard is waving his green flag and a m,netter is manically waving a red flag!!

any colours apart from red and green will be fine!!

We are actually travelling from Exeter on 20th April, leaving at 10.20. I have been asked if we will bring 2 small animals back with us as well, so there could be 7 of us on the return journey.

Hi, ponygirl, this was all cod's brilliant idea, I think it would be great to meet as many MN'ers as possible, even though it will only be breifly, so if you can make it to Exeter we'd love to see you, I'm going to bring a small token from scotland and the children have made yellow flags for the train. They are 21 months, 7 and 10 yrs. We are travelling down on the 15th and back on the 20th, by which time I think they will be exhausted!
