Taking overnight oats, yoghurt and chia pudding through Bristol airport security

Has anyone taken overnight oats, yoghurt over 100ml or chia pudding through the new airport security? I’m flying from Bristol, so know they have relaxed the 100ml rule for hand luggage, but can’t find anything about this sort of food.

I took an avocado through. Caused consternation and surprise in equal measure. Well I wasn’t going to throw away a perfectly good one and it would have been rotten if I left it at home.

My airport states that puddings and yogurts count as liquids, so must be stored in 100ml containers.

But the others are right, it sounds really gross, and potentially unsafe, to eat warm pudding and yogurt.

Are you trying to save money? Yoghurt shouldn’t be out of the fridge more than two hours at room temp , it then starts to develop harmful bacteria,

I think if you wish to be safe I’d buy at the airport,

She has said why. Allergies.

Bristol Airport confiscated a frozen bolognese sauce I made for ailing inlaws in Scotland my husband was flying up to see with hand luggage only. Airport security said it might defrost while he was airbourne. It was an hour-long flight and the bolognese was a completely solid brick at the time. The mistake my husband made was not just saying it was beef and not mentioning the sauce bit. The guy questioning him hadn't a clue and probably would have let him through.
