Yes!! We loved it it is really so magical I can’t wait to go back one day.

TeamGeriatric · 04/03/2026 14:08

Yes, I thought we'd go once, think we will go back again this year will be the 3rd visit.

TurboGirl2 · 04/03/2026 14:36

I love it, going for our 5th visit this year but i am a big disney fan. My kids mainly just like it for the rides and aren't fussed by characters etc now they are older.

millit · 04/03/2026 14:44

I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. Everyone kept saying to me I bet you’re so excited before we were going and I thought erm, well I’m excited to see the kids enjoying themselves but not for me but I absolutely loved it. Worth every penny in my opinion

Pepperedpickles · 04/03/2026 14:48

We love it. Watch some of the many, many vlogs about it on you tube and you’ll soon know if it’s for you or not.

FlowerFairyDaisy · 04/03/2026 14:48

Loved it. Would love to go back!

RainRainRain2025 · 04/03/2026 15:42

Would it be enjoyable for a family who loved Disney World in Florida? Or would it pale in comparison?

Peoplemakemedespair · 04/03/2026 15:43

Loved it. It helped that we went with other family members though with similar aged children so they kept each other amused during the queuing. If it was my 3 on their own I’m sure there’d have been bickering

CrowMate · 04/03/2026 15:45

I’ve never been a Disney fan and really thought it would just be something I tolerated for my DC. I loved it, as op had said it was just so immersive and magical. We stayed at one of the Disney hotels onsite that helped too.

FriedFalafels · 04/03/2026 15:46

We loved it. Have done it twice now. We tend to do shorter trips and spend on fast passes. We also make sure we book the character dining so don’t need to queue for many characters.

Will be stopping by there for one day this summer as Frozen land will have opened. We park our motorhome in their car park overnight and just buy day passes. We wouldn’t do the Florida one as we’re quite satisfied with 2 days and wouldn’t want more theme park days than that on a holiday

I found there was no comparison with the magic of all the parks in Florida after being there 3 times before going to DLP. However I did go to DLP when the weather wasn't great and it was also nearly 25 years ago so may be different now! I remember having a nice day there but everything just being bigger, better and more special in Florida, plus the sunshine! I was 13, 15 and 19 when I went to Florida and 20 when I went to DLP.

It’s not the same as Florida but if you have under 10s they will still love it. My daughter has done both (been going to Orlando since she was small) and she really enjoyed her trip to Paris.

Well you can put the whole of Disneyland Paris into the car park of the magic kingdom section of Orlando…. 😁 but having said that it’s every bit as enjoyable, just different.

What age is it suitable for? My children are 2 and 4, is that too young ?

Mn isn’t the best place to ask this really bc they believe young children shouldn’t be taken as they won’t remember it. I don’t really get that attitude as YOU’LL remember it and they’ll still enjoy it. I took an 18 month old and he loved every minute. The pictures I have of that holiday are priceless. A little girl gave him a pair of her Minnie Mouse ears and I’ve got some hilarious videos of him throwing tantrums whenever you tried to take them off his head for the entire 5 days we were there 😂

HarryVanderspeigle · 05/03/2026 11:45

If you like theme parks.or Disney then yes it is worth it. We went a few years age and are planning to go back this year. Much cheaper than going to Florida and you only need a few days. The sheer scale of the Florida overwhelmed me when I started to look into it for a trip of a lifetime.

Everlil · 05/03/2026 11:49

We went with a 3yr old and they loved it. We all had a really fun time. It was pretty quiet (Christmas period, term time), the decorations looked beautiful. Stayed at the Disney Hotel so it was so quick to get about and the most comfortable beds ever! I think we would definitely go back.

jennymac31 · 05/03/2026 12:18

I wasn't a big fan of Disney but when we went to DLP in October 2023, I was amazed by how much I loved it. It was fantastic and we do want to go again. If you're able to go there on an Inset day then it makes a difference cost-wise. The kids had a couple of Inset days before the October half-term so we managed to save a few hundred pounds getting to DLP before the school holiday rush.

DeepfriedPizza · 05/03/2026 12:22

My DD will be 16 next month. We asked her if she wanted to go to a beach type holiday or DLP so we are going back to DLP in July. This will be our 3rd time as a family. We love it. Yes, it's expensive, yes,it's tiring but it's great.

My youngest was 4 when we went to Disneyland Hong Kong, that was our first Disney trip, and we enjoyed it (apart from the heat) and they still remembers bits of it. It was planned more because we were transiting through Hong Kong rather than we went to Hong Kong to do Disney if that makes sense. We've done Paris and Tokyo since, which they obviously remember better. I'm all for making memories for the parents on holidays, we travelled a lot to some pretty far flung places with our kids when they were very small, holidays are for parents too and if Disney is your preference for a holiday it makes perfect sense to go when they are small. If it's a one and only Disney trip for the kids benefit then I would wait a few years. As they get older they can go on more rides and have more stamina for 15 hour days in a theme park.

belle89yg · 06/03/2026 08:43

It’s all those things but still great fun, one of those childhood ‘bucket list’ experiences I think. It’s a one and done trip for us (with kids, we went when young too) as we prefer the offerings of Florida, but it’s a great warm up act when the kids are younger.

fartoomuchtoblerone · 06/03/2026 08:47

It is tiring and overpriced for sure. We went for the kids and I expected to feel a bit jaded by it all. Actually though I loved it almost as much as they did and it was genuinely a bit magical!

BarbiesDreamHome · 06/03/2026 10:13

Its OK.

We had a brilliant time but I think that was because it was a quick trip, within budget and it didn't have trip-of-a-lifetime status.

It's a bit like going to Centre Parcs or Legoland in the sense that I'd absolute recommend it to a local family for a great break and lots of fun but I wouldn't recommend flying over from another country to visit iykwim

babylamb4 · 06/03/2026 10:44

We went for the first time last year and I was dreading all the walking and I’m not a theme park type of gal. But I absolutely loved it and felt like a little girl again, it’s such a magical place. We are going again this year

To be fair I’m not sure Disneyland Paris is trying to meet ‘trip of a lifetime’ status that perhaps Disney World is going for.
