Any recommendations for a 5 day break next July for 2 middle aged women who like nice restaurants and music but not clubby type. Preferably with a harbour/marina. Old town. Beach rather than city break.
Thank you.

I'm similar age with similar requirements and I'm doing Porto this year and fancying Budva next year. If you're not a brit abroad type I'd avoid Albufeira but Villa Moura is ok.

Cala d’or in Majorca would be ideal.

Also Ciutadella in Menorca. But I personally think Ayios Nikolaos in Crete is the superior option! Less touristy (though it’s beautiful), and more like just a random thriving town that people actually live in type feel with little independent places all over.

UK or abroad is the first place question OP.

Rovinj Croatia. Beautiful cobbled old town, swanky marina and posh hotels, a large nature park you can walk and cycle through with little coves and beaches to swim and small beach bars/ cafes dotted throughout.

Trogir, Croatia

If abroad then Kotor, Montenegro.

Also don't discount Fuengirola! It has a beautiful marina area and lots of lovely restaurants and bars, you don't have to go near the main 'strip' (which is called Fish Alley)

And the train goes straight to Malaga which is a lovely day out.

Kassiopi in Corfu. Lovely harbour and regular boat trips to Corfu Town. Lovely restaurants and a nice buzz.
