I'll just start with the Holiday the booking of the holiday, every step of transfers flight times was all good my family and I had a good time away. The issue we had was on the way back and how EasyJet deal with the behaviour of their staff.
We had an evening flight from Gran Canaria we arrived at the airport early at 6pm, the baggage check in took an hour and half and there was no air-conditioning in the airport, they wouldn't put more than one member of staff on the desk and when the other member of staff appeared she was dealing with fast check in only and wasn't serving standard check in even when she had no one to deal with.
The flight was delayed by an hour when we finally got on board we sat in our seats that we had to pre-book and cost us £59.97, we were in row 2 on the left side of the plane the seats in front of us were empty.
The floors where we were expected to put our bags had not been cleaned since the previous flight there was melted chocolate and all sorts on the floor under the seats.
The first hour of the flight was totally fine air hostesses came around and served no issues and were pleasant.
When the cart had finished it's rounds 2 lads from the back of the plane came to the front and were waiting for the toilet (considering the air hostess had sent other people from the back of the plane to the back to use the toilets I found it strange how these 2 weren't asked to return to back to use the toilet). At this point it's 12am my wife and daughter were trying to get some sleep as we had been up since 8am that morning.
These lads were flirting with the air hostesses initially I found the funny side of it, but after 2 hours of then stood there and the air hostesses flirting back it felt as if I was in a nightclub at no point were they asked to return to their seats and they were not being quiet to allow the other passengers to rest. They then proceeded to take the seats in front of us and continue to flirt both lads and staff.
I raised a complaint about the other than the response taking almost 2 weeks to get back to me, Mark at customer services proceeded to blame only the passengers and said easyJet are not responsible for the passengers, to which I replied agreed but your staff are responsible to make sure situations like this don't happened and don't join in with this behaviour, again he disagreed his staff had don't any wrong doing as it would be against operational procedures for him to do so.
I was given initially a £50 voucher towards another easyJet holiday which I refused as I wanted the 19.99 each I paid for the seat they rejected the extra 9.97, and we settled on a £50 refund
I will never use EasyJet again for a package holiday, will book with TUI or Jet2 next time
