Easyjet package holidays. Any good?

Usually go with Jet2 but some packages on Easyjet have caught me eye. Any good or should I avoid?

No personal experience, but friends have used EasyJet package holidays twice and highly recommend them. DD has one booked too, looks like a great deal and nice place.

Onetwothreefourfivealive · 11/04/2025 21:16

we went to Turkey last year with easy jet, no issue at all with the holiday, same hotel as TUI use, the only downside was that there was no rep for easy jet. The TUI ones answered the questions we had so no bother

sandrapinchedmysandwich · 11/04/2025 21:19

Yes. You often get better flight times with easyJet and seats, I think, are more comfortable. The only thing is you don't get as good a baggage allowance. So Jet2 allows a check in suitcase plus a generous cabin bag and a handbag. Easyjet is a suitcase and one small bag. The biggest bonus is Easyjet don't play Jess Glynn on repeat on the plane 😂

User46576 · 11/04/2025 21:24

I’ve done one with my kids. It was great- previously been to same hotel so knew what to expect

HolidayStrawberry · 11/04/2025 21:30

We’ve done a few with them. They were much cheaper than the exact same holiday through Tui (as Tui were using the same EasyJet flights anyway!) I’m surprised that people are still using Tui and First Choice.

We did actually book the EasyJet flights and accommodation separately last time as that saved us another £1000 even on the cheaper easyJet package - as we always pay for private transfers and never speak to reps in resort anyway, so I was happy to get both separately (and by booking hotel directly we didn’t have to pay until a week before, which is also nicer than paying so much more up front)

Newgirls · 11/04/2025 21:38

Yes we had a good experience to Lanzarote. I guess if any flight issues they’d help with accom too.

They recently played that song when I was getting on a Ryanair flight and everyone turned to each other and commented about them playing the 'Jet2 music' Grin

"The biggest bonus is Easyjet don't play Jess Glynn on repeat on the plane"

It's so grating isn't it! Feel sorry for the staff having to listen to it all the time!

Well you've saved me from ever flying with Jet2, that is torture.

We've used easyJet for the last six holidays and have three more booked.
The main reason I love them is that you can completely cancel up to 30 days before and not lose any money- the deposit just stays as credit in your account. This means if a better deal comes up, or different rooms are released I just book again and then cancel my existing holiday.

Firstshoes · 12/04/2025 10:18

I've been away with easyJet holídays a few times and have three booked for this year. They always seem to come up cheaper for the same holiday. We are more than happy with them. Had no issues whatsoever and you can pay the balance right up until 4 weeks before you fly. They are also flexible and allow you to cancel your booking and refund your deposít as easyJet credit

Bigham · 12/04/2025 10:44

We’ve just come back from a five day break in Krakow which we booked through EasyJet. Back in the day I was very much a ‘do it yourself holiday person’ but since Covid I’m a bit more anxious about things going wrong !
We chose a great hotel, flights were reasonably timed, could pay in instalments, no problems at all, would do a city break like this again. Really recommend them.

MoreChocPls · 12/04/2025 11:00

I’ve found them more expensive than BA.

oncemoreuntothebeachdearfriends · 12/04/2025 11:52

We've had several, all have been fine. There's no rep at the hotel, but there's always a tel no for emergencies - apart from the hotel staff of course.

We've also had BA holidays, & they often use the same hotels.
Worth cross-checking flight times & baggage allowances. Our last holiday was about £20 dearer with BA, but the flight times meant we didn't have to pay for an overnight airport hotel.

Do BA include transfers too? Never thought of using them before but worth considering

I’ve been twice with them & got 2 more booked this year , no issues whatsoever , touches wood .
as others have said no rep but never needs one and am sure someone would be on end of phone if necessary .
also I’ve cancelled and changed destination with no issue , no refund but easy jet credit you can use towards any other flight or holidays . I like to be able to pay in instalments too .

Can I ask where you stayed please? I'm looking at Antalya but keep getting put off by poor reviews of the accommodations!

Does EasyJet have their own coaches that do drop offs at the hotels or do you have to go and queue for a local transfer? Tia.

They have their own transfers but the coaches often say Diana Transfers on the side rather than Easyjet

They're usually extra.
We usually book with "Holiday Extras" as they are always reliable & cheaper than BA or EJ .

Bjorkdidit · 12/04/2025 18:46

It depends on where you're going and your party size/any special needs as to whether you need transfers.

We've got the public bus/tram/train for under 10 euro in many places so wouldn't pay for a transfer, also can be far quicker than a coach that drops off in half a dozen places before it gets to your accommodation.

user2848502016 · 12/04/2025 19:01

We went a good few years ago now and had a great week, not sure if they’re still good for holidays but have flown easyJet a couple of times since and always been impressed. I think their staff are always friendly and helpful and the last plane we went on was nicer than Jet2.
I would definitely try a package holiday with them in the future

Wibblywobblybobbly · 12/04/2025 19:06

The nicer hotels often have private transfers included with Easyjet which is handy.

I've always found them to be excellent. I don't see they point of an in resort rep personally. I have no need for one. Hotel staff and rhe emergency line are more than enough.

I like Holiday Extras for airport parking too

CanOfMangoTango · 12/04/2025 19:19

We booked with easyjet instead of tui for Xmas last year, came in cheaper but the holiday was the exact same & tui would have used the same flights.

Would book again, no rep in resort but that doesn't bother me particularly.

MoreHairyThanScary · 12/04/2025 19:20

We had and easyJet holiday last year, thought the baggage allowance was really good, they used a local company to pick up from the airport and the hotel was lovely, and significantly cheaper than the competition. We were happy enough to book again with easyjet for June.
