Hi there. Since December 2023 me and my fella have been to Corralejo around 8 - 10 times. We have stayed in a lovely apart hotel all inclusive and also a fabulous Air BnB apartment.sharing a pool with two other apartments. I prefer the apartment set up and now we go for that option, booking our own flights and saving a fortune. I would like a change at some point but not sure where to try. Not keen on Tenerife, Costa Adeje as it's so built up and the same with Lanzarote. Costa Teguise. Not sure about Gran Canaria either. Any nice accommodation in Puerto del Carmen. Lanzarote? I know it's busy but I remember there being a long promenade there. Sorry if I sound fussy but I am when it comes to holidays. I have managed to plan great holiday for 2 weeks with two of us for under £1000. I know Corralejo divides opinion but everyone had different needs. We tried Calete de Fuste but not for us as its a man made resort. All we want is nice accommodation, seaside, sunshine, places to walk to or go to by bus and a reasonable budget...it can be done in Corralejo but not sure where else? PS just returned from Argentina on a self organised tour which was half the price of a similar package!

Can't flaming find messages on this new app.. can you help?

You can't send messages on the app. I went on my tablet and searched for Mumsnet on Google and somehow the version on there let's you message. The question was asking you about the aspect for Casa 7A, Casa 20E and Villa 9B as they are the only ones available for the dates I can get cheap flights. We are over in Corralejo in 10 days so might pop over to Playa Blanca and explore. Is the place a gated community or is there a reception there? Thanks in advance!

Oh definitely go and have a walk round.. luckily ferry port is right across road.
7A and 9B are on the flat nearer the pool.
20 Up the hill but not right at the back.
The receptionist are lovely.. they look after all the rented villas..they will offer and help / information you need.
You cam also go across the road to Punta Limones and look at the restaurants there.
Please let me know how you get on.
P.S not gated.

@MoierGood morning from Corralejo! Should have asked this sooner. We are hopping over to Playa Blanca for the day. Going to check out the apartments and have a spot of lunch. We might catch the bus around the resort too. Any tips for a reasonable lunch would be great!

Final day on La Palma and it’s beautiful, staying south at the La Palma Princess hotel which is great, gorgeous coast line. It’s at least an hour drive to the walks in the North but roads are good and not busy, lots of walking to be done! Will be back, a lot quieter than the other islands.

Good morning. We loved the complex and liked number 20 further back. Thanks for all the information. We walked all the way to the Rubicon marina on a lovely sunny day. Very windy here in Corralejo today!

Yep we went with Tui but hired a car so weren’t relying on excursions and could do our own thing at our own pace
