Looking for next Summer, want to go to Turkey again but looking for recommendations of 4*+ All Inclusive resorts. Has anyone got any good recommendations - and please tell me what was good about it! Especially interested in the food aspect...)

Oh also needs to be kid-friendlly! Kids club a nice to have but not a must as I have a reluctant child!

We went to Titanic Mardan palace in Antalya in June and it was stunning.

Another vote for Hilton Dalaman- in one of the lake house rooms

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I have booked Lara Barut for April thanks to the recommendations here, and it looks like an amazing hotel! I know the sea must be cold then, but at least I have all the food and dining to look forward to!

Price wise - am surprised at how expensive Turkey AI is. I always assumed it was a cheap destination but the total price came to the same as an AI in the Caribbeans (Dominican Republic etc). It's only the shorter flight that's made me book Turkey this time. I also cannot use my BA status or miles, as BA doesn't fly to Antalya in April. But hopefully the resort makes up for all that!

hi @DestinationTravel - I have also booked Lara Barut for July this year. Booked through BA Holidays - they were cheaper than Jet2 but still expensive! We also considered going to Dominican Republic instead for the same price but like you, decided to go with the shorter flight/no jet lag option. I hope you have a great holiday and if you are able to post a review here when you get back that would be much appreciated!

@FMH you're lucky you can fly BA - with the new tier system, you will get lots of points for booking the hotel+flights through them.

Dominican Republic is amazing in April and October - water is always warm and the AI facilities are so so good (although Lara Barut does seem like it has better food). Most hotels have huge waterparks, game rooms, golf and they offer a lot for the money. You want to avoid spring break (early April) and the US summer holidays (June-July) though. Hopefully next year!

Thanks! Sounds like Dominican could be an option for an Oct half term holiday.
