Looking for recommendations for a short break/ long weekend with my friend. We'd like somewhere with interesting places to see and visit. We are in our early 60's and enjoy visiting country houses, NT, little bit of shopping (not high street), coffee shops/ tea rooms. Somewhere with interest and home comforts.
Probable Radius of up to 200 miles from Berkshire/ N Hants if possible.
Recommendations for accommodation too, two rooms in a B&B or AirBNB with parking too.
