Nice hotels in Tenerife

Can anyone recommend a good 4/5* hotel in Tenerife for October time please? Adults travelling with a teen. Budget around 3.5k. Preferably not really huge, but with good pools, and clean/modern, with transfer under 1 hour? Entertainment not an issue, great if there is a nearby town / waterpark to visit. Thank you very much wise Mumsnetters!

Just back from the Marylanza and couldn't fault the hotel or the location. Not one for huge entertainment in the evening but always something on inside the entertainment room and live music by the pool bar.

How many nights is that budget meant to cover? And on what board basis? And does it include flights, or is there separate money for that?

For £3.5k, nope. Will need more budget for this one.

Can I ask… looking at a video on YouTube. The sunbeds round the pool look super cramped together. Did you find this? Thank you

I have to say it didn't feel that way, we ended up spending quite a bit of time on the sunbeds as dd just wanted to be in the pool all the time but didn't feel squashed. However it's the first time I've been on holiday somewhere like that so I don't have anything to compare it with!
