Where are you going on holiday in 2023?

We're off to Mallorca for a week next summer, staying near Sa Pobla: Finca Son Caldera. I've never been before but the hotel looks gorgeous and I'm looking forward to a lazy week away. I was hoping for a Black Friday discount on flights but sadly not. Booked anyway as they weren't getting any cheaper!

What are your holiday plans for next year?

Just one trip booked at the moment to Boston, Cape Cod and Nantucket.

Did loads this year- Austria, Greece x 2, Mauritius and South Africa.
But-
Bloody hell I can't get over how expensive flights are for next year!
Ideally want to do somewhere May half term, Turkey two weeks over summer and American trip round Canyon/Monument Valley/Zion/Moab for two weeks in October but might have to rethink!

Was going to grab a week somewhere hot but then I thought. I can't be doing with airports so really don't know what I fancy doing at all now. We will probably go off in the campervan because we can take the dog.

We have Ischia booked for May - so sad to hear about the landslides and people dead and missing there this weekend. It's such a fabulous island. Followed by a few days in Naples. We've been to Pompeii and Vesuvius before so focus is on Herculaneum and the underground tunnels. We were meant to go to Puglia this year but our flights were cancelled - so I hope to resurrect that one in September. We will do some other weekends away - top picks at the moment for our girly trip away are Seville and Budapest.

Edinburgh trip, Keswick, Oxford, Prague, gladtonbury, Australia/ Bali

5 days Lake Annecy in March and a week in Sorrento in September. Really want to re-visit Stromboli in the summer but having no luck finding suitable flights to Sicily so far...

Not sure yet. We normally go somewhere at Easter for some sun, Cape Verdes last year. This year we had wondered about a villa somewhere, Turkey maybe. But then we have a few house projects so we may just do a week at centre parcs or similar.

We live in a rather lovely area come the summer so don’t tend to go away then.

We have booked a hot tub lodge in the Lakes, an apartment in Scarborough for 3 nights in April, a week in Halkidiki in May, then a fortnight in Thailand in August.

Currently away in a lodge in Yorkshire and loving it. Absolutely love holidays and ww prioritise them.

If all goes according to plan, DH and I will be having a week in Tenerife AI. We are going to Scotland with BIL & SIL and we will likely have a week somewhere in our caravan plus some long weekends.

2024 is our 'holiday of a lifetime' year. We'll be doing a US road trip with our 2 adult DCs and partners if they have them at the time.

Lanzarote in August - can't wait. Been desperate for a beach/pool holiday for a couple of years now.

Hoping that if stuff stops breaking/getting damaged in my house/interest rates & inflation sort themselves out & the planets align inset day wise we might do a long weekend in Vienna pre-Christmas.

Paleochora in Crete for a fortnight definitely but not sure what else.

We spent about 10 years worth of holiday budget on a trip to Florida this year.

Dorset for a week and Kent for a week in the summer. Not much spare cash but we always try to go somewhere different and usually in the UK. Not sure how I feel about flying with the climate crisis, seems a bit Nero-ish.

Already have trip to Jordan planned. Will also go somewhere in Europe with DH - maybe Portugal.

We went to Thassos a few years ago and really enjoyed it - very unspoilt and mostly locals from the mainland holidaying there. It does seem to have more than its fare share of wasps though so a good insect repellent might be a good idea - they used burning coffee grounds with mixed success in the hotel we stayed at

I'll be on mat leave so will probs book a villa for us in Italy for 3 weeks or so early summer. I should really book.

Italy in the summer. Also trying to sort out some time/money to go to Disney in Paris at the start of the year.
