How bad/good are Haven holidays?

A friend keeps asking me to go on one with the children. I'm tempted by the price but they look a bit, well, you know...

Even she admits not to leaving the cabin at night. Seriously, how bad are they?

just came back from Mablesthorpe camp at haven and had the worst time ever, security guards swearing in front of my children, overpriced food outlets onsite, unclear instructions when arriving, site missing things that were advertised having on the internet, not to mention overpriced watered down ale, gorgeous swimming pool but fun slides shut, and entertainment by the haven staff for the children diabolical !!!!!! I wrote a letter of complaint and 4 weeks I have waited with no response !! AVOID HAVEN IF YOU WANT A GOOD BREAK / HOLIDAY !!

I have just reported a post for advertising. Only just seen it was from 2011
