I live in California so visit Vegas regularly. It's such a fun city, loads to do, not just gambling. Shows, shopping, sightseeing (hoover dam, grand canyon, red rock), chilling. It's hot during the summer months, rest of the year is pleasant. It's a dry heat so bearable though.

I've been three times for work conferences. I was convinced I'd hate it before I went the first time but it's actually become one of my favourite places, I'm going to go with DH once we're able to travel again.

It's like Disneyland for adults. Yes, it is fake and plasticky and tacky but it's so much fun just wandering about the crazy casinos or people watching by the pool - and the food is absolutely amazing.

I had one of the best seafood meals of my life at Estiatorio Milos in LV -

I found the best bit of Las Vegas was leaving Las Vegas. We spent one night in a teepee in the Grand Canyon and went horse riding and tried lasoing (if thats how you spell it) and that was by far the best bit.
