Money tight this year so staying close to home. Tell me your favourite place,

My favourite city is Manchester, like the IWM, culture, shopping and the people. Love the lakes in particular hawkshead oh and Kirby longsdale (mainly for booth!)

Forgotten about Northumberland, Seahouses, Dunstanburgh , Craster are all beautiful but it's too cold so Dorset is still my No.1

North Devon especially the Lynmouth area.

Holkham in Norfolk is the best beach in the world. Miles and miles of sand and sky. It's breathtaking.

Oh dear! Too many gorgeous places, I can't pick just one! My highlights are :

  1. The western highlands and Islands of Scotland, particularly Wester Ross and the areas around Torridon, Glen Shiel, Applecross and Lochcarron.
  1. Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.
  1. Dorset.
  1. The South Downs.
  1. Exmoor.
  1. Cornwall.

The lake district, when I was 18 I went on an open top bus from windermere through to grasmere, I couldn't believe my eyes it was so beautiful

Feeling a bit warm and fuzzy people saying Islay. Grin I was born on Islay lovely place.
I love where I live all of it. I live in the highlands and feel very lucky every day.

I love Durness such a stunning place with the cliffs that top off Scotland and views over to Orkney.
I also love most places that are in amongst the Cairngorms. The Cairngorm range is one of my favourite places on earth so much amazing scenery and places to see.
