I thought I'd start a new thread as number 2 is nearly full.

Links to old threads:

thread 1

thread 2

We haven't got ours booked yet. But we are planning on going August 2016. DH and I both turn 30 in the next 11 months so it's like a big birthday holiday.

Heisenberg, if you're planning to the party you need to get tickets beforehand. Tuesdays are the best days to go

How much are the tickets, do you know? Good job i found this thread!

LucasNorthsTwiglets · 02/07/2015 11:41

They're pretty expensive for what they are :( They start at $68, depending on what day you go. Here is info and a link to buy tickets

Jumping in today we go on 5th August. Not read the threads will do that later.

Just wanted to remind everyone - in case it hasn't been mentioned in any of the 2500 posts so far - if you are looking online - please remember to clear your cookies.

Thomson prices were increasing daily, until someone told me to clear my cookies and guess what? Dropped by hundreds to it's original price. Angry

StrawberrytallCake · 03/07/2015 11:38

Yes it is discovery cove, had a brilliant day but at around 3.30 a big storm came so we had to take cover for an hour then made our way home, still worth it though!!

Dog telling the girls was funny, the little one was very excited but the eldest just went into a bit of shock for a while and wouldn't believe me. On the plane later on she told dh it was the best day of her life which was very nice.

Quite tired now but we have Universal breakfast this morning and Epcot fireworks this evening - day off by the pool tomorrow.

BloodyDogHairs · 03/07/2015 14:05

Aw strawberry how sweet!

My 3yr old got himself dressed this morning in his swimshorts....apparently we are going to Mickeys house to swim in his pools, he's in for a shock when I fill a tiny padding pool in the garden!

McKayz · 05/07/2015 05:55

DD got up at 5 to pack. We don't go for 407 days. I am starting to see the benefits of keeping it a surprise.

Still it's nice she's excited I guess.

Can I ask where you booked your flights?

LucasNorthsTwiglets · 06/07/2015 09:04

We always book ours direct with Virgin, Emma - but this year I will be keeping an eye on Skyscanner/Kayak as I've read that it's really useful for helping you find the cheapest flights.

StrawberrytallCake · 07/07/2015 22:49

Big storms tonight and we're supposed to be going to wishes fireworks dessert party - boooo.

StrawberrytallCake · 07/07/2015 22:49

We booked ours with BA in Jan and got a great price.

BloodyDogHairs · 07/07/2015 23:13

Oh that's rubbish! I see the lightening the other day struck the Avanti hotel and set fire to it Shock

StrawberrytallCake · 07/07/2015 23:33

I think that was the storm we were at Epcot for - all the way over the other side of the lake in France and it was so scary. We got back to the car park which was pitch black and dh fell over one of the disabled bollards, we ended up in the ER and he can't go in the pool for another few days!!

LucasNorthsTwiglets · 08/07/2015 07:53

Oh no, Strawberry, poor DH :(

BloodyDogHairs · 08/07/2015 13:53

What a shame strawberry, that's the only downside of going when it's the roasting hot months...you are guaranteed the storms. MK had to cancel the 3pm parades and fireworks twice in a row when we were there.

BaconAndAvocado · 09/07/2015 18:39

So I got up at 5AM today to start booking my Fastpasses........only to discover I was a day early Hmm

30 days to go........

LucasNorthsTwiglets · 09/07/2015 19:14

Hi Bacon, I have literally just spoken to you elsewhere on the web! (deliberately being cryptic so that I don't out myself but hopefully you'll know what I mean :) )

How annoying about the 5am start for nothing. I bet I'll do the same thing when it's my turn :)

LeBoob · 09/07/2015 20:22

We're booked!! 14 days Caribbean beach resort oct '16 ! Yippee

KinkyDorito · 10/07/2015 10:46

Does anyone have recommendations for CBR? I was asked if I had any preferences but wasn't prepared for the question! Now I'm thinking there will be an area I should be in for ease! Some people have said they are miles away from reception /buses in these resorts.
