Bacon, the latter part of August should be fine... Mine Train was the only one I struggled to get last time - a few times we changed our schedule at the last minute and I only booked FPs the night before and we were able to get everything we wanted.

I'm really annoyed (stop me if I've said this already) but we won't be able to have many FastPasses :( Annual Passholders are only allowed 7 days worth in any 30 day period! Luckily my DCs have outgrown the Princess meet & greet stage so it should be ok to get them a few days before but it's really irritating to pay more money and be penalized for it Angry

nikki1978 · 20/04/2015 07:11

Sorry bacon I got up at 5 to get something specific. This morning I just did my normal wake up time for the epcot ones and had no issues :)

HermioneWeasley · 20/04/2015 08:18

Lucas, that is shit - you'd think they'd want to reward/encourage you!

LucasNorthsTwiglets · 20/04/2015 10:31

Absolutely, Hermione! How are the post-Disney blues?

Having a second chance at getting an ADR for lunch at Be Our Guest today. They were all gone by 11 on the dot when I tried, so I guess all the onsite guests have booked :( Apparently availability does come up nearer the time but I want it booked!! 29 minutes to go, wish me luck :)

BloodyDogHairs · 20/04/2015 10:45

Lucas that is annoying especially if you are tied to school holidays now, the parks will be heaving.

Good luck with the ADR!

I just tried on my holiday shorts from last year Blush and I defo need to cut some calories out....I've not paid for MM to hide behind the characters Grin

LucasNorthsTwiglets · 20/04/2015 11:07

ARSE. Still no luck with BoG :(

I am starting my Florida diet today.

BloodyDogHairs · 20/04/2015 14:17

Oh rubbish, hopefully if you keep trying you will get a table.....eventually.

Magnolia1975 · 20/04/2015 14:31

Bacon. ...
we have booked with Thomson and my dh was able to book ADR and Fast passes with his booking reference number which is linked in to the my disney experience website. We didn't need to wait for our tickets.

sorry to gatecrash this thread only just seen it. 52 days and counting for me Grin

StrawberryTallCake · 20/04/2015 15:03

Don't worry Lucas I booked BoG for the beginning of July only last week!

I'm on my Florida diet and gym regime but to be honest walking round the parks for the time we're there will probably get me fitter than trying here!

LucasNorthsTwiglets · 20/04/2015 15:42

That's good to know, Strawberry - thanks!

BloodyDogHairs · 20/04/2015 16:51

When yous are booking/booked does the reservation show up as all adults? On my Disney app I have everyone listed with their ages but for my Rainforest Cafe booking it's showing up all adultsHmm. That won't matter will it?

HelloIAmBaymax · 20/04/2015 17:10

Lucas,
AP holders staying onsite can choose fastpasses for the duration of their stay. If you're staying offsite you can choose new fastpasses at the end of day 1 for day 8 , then at the end of day 2 for day 9 etc

HelloIAmBaymax · 20/04/2015 17:12

Sorry, just read your post again and realised that you already know about making the fastpasses after using each day.

LucasNorthsTwiglets · 20/04/2015 18:35

Thanks, Baymax. I often used to tweak the FPs when we were there so I guess I'll have to get used to doing it this way, rather than all in advance. I'll still be able to get the important ones, like Mine Train, booked.

Dog, I booked my ADRs whilst logged into MDE and I had to choose the people who would eat there, from my Family & Friends list - so it knows who is an adult and who is a child. But yes, I'm sure it won't matter at all.

chairmeoh · 20/04/2015 19:46

Strawberry I lost 4lb over 2 weeks, despite all the burgers, ice cream, waffles etc. I think the gallons of water we drank helped as well as the miles of walking. Plus we were too tired to snack in the evening!

nikki1978 · 20/04/2015 19:53

4 weeks to go! So much stress at the moment as we have massive building works happening and dh has to go away for work for 9 days (to new York and he gets back 5 days before we leave poor bugger). This is our first family holiday (dc are 10 and 8 so it has been a long time coming!). Never needed a holiday more.

BloodyDogHairs · 20/04/2015 20:46

4 weeks will fly in, when you are sat on the plane the stress will be a distant memory Smile

What parks are you doing?

BaconAndAvocado · 20/04/2015 21:12

lucas that's what I'm hoping!

Thanks for, heads up magnolia I have already booked my ADRs but didn't need a reference for that. I will definitely go into Thomson soon to get it clarified as it's causing me a lot of DPS (Disney Planning Stress)

baymax loving your name tag!!

BloodyDogHairs · 20/04/2015 21:23

lol Disney Planning Stress! I know that feeling all too well.

leesmum · 21/04/2015 11:41

Hi all, keeping a watch on this thread, we're booking this week for Florida June 2016 so trying to get my head around everything... You lot seem to know what you're doing so expect to be bombarded with lots of questions!! I'm very jealous of those of you who are going soon Smile

nikki1978 · 21/04/2015 16:39

Bacon we will do all the disney parks (some more than once hopefully), typhoon llagoon, universal. Then a 3 day cruise at the end :)

BaconAndAvocado · 21/04/2015 20:17

Ooohhhh a 3 day cruise, you lucky lucky person nikki ! It will be a chance to relax after the madness of the parks!

BaconAndAvocado · 21/04/2015 20:18

We're also planning to,do the whole lot: Disney, Universal, Island of Adventures, Water park, Sea World, Discovery Cove..........phew!

BloodyDogHairs · 22/04/2015 15:42

Ok all you planners......do you feel that you are the only one excited! honestly I think about this holiday EVERYDAY. I've just told my MIL I need to know what rides her and my FIL intend on doing so I can sort FP but it's like pulling teeth. I think I've turned into the Disney bore of the family Shock

LucasNorthsTwiglets · 23/04/2015 10:13

Ha ha, Dog, I also think about it every day! I am getting no work done because I'm on the Dibb all day Blush I'm not alone though luckily, as my mum is also obsessed with it (she's coming too - well, it's only fair to let them come as they're paying :D) We make a joke of how obsessed we are and how far in advance we plan things. We don't even go until October and we're already planning what food we're going to buy for the night before, when we stay in a hotel and have a picnic for the kids :) We are also thinking of our trip next August, so almost 1.5 years away!

It's just so lovely to having something so nice to think about and get excited for. I don't know WHAT I'm going to do when it's all over :( Am currently trying to get a job so that we can afford to go again one day.
