Does anyone know if my memory maker links automatically to my family? I've got MM linked to me but everytime I try and link it to others is says "card already in use" or something like that! When I click on DH, DD etc it's only showing the tickets I added yesterday Hmm I've looked on the FAQ but still clueless. Its not really a big deal as we'll be buying bands so it'll all be linked for us in the shop but it's just annoying me....I like things organised lol

I sat last night with my highlighter pens highlighting the rides for my 2 small DC's, rides we can childswap and rides other can go off and do themselves Smile. I've also gave out the orders for the waterparks ie we arrive at opening, I go straight to the kids section, DH and 2 older DC's go and ride the slides while its quiet then we meet up and spend the rest of the time floating in the lazy riverGrin

Dog, I think it automatically links them, yes. As far as I understand, the Memory Maker card can only be assigned to one person (that's why you weren't able to link MM to them) but anyone else in your party will also be able to add photos as long as you link them to your account under 'Family & Friends'. If they have their own MDE accounts then you need to get them to tick a 'permission to share photos' box or something like that.

BloodyDogHairs · 17/04/2015 14:22

ok thanks that makes sense, we just have the one account which is mine but everyone is added.

HermioneWeasley · 17/04/2015 21:38

At the airport on our way home now

BloodyDogHairs · 17/04/2015 22:21

Oh no Sad have a safe flight home.

chairmeoh · 17/04/2015 22:29

We're homeward bound too. Armed with a notepad on the plane for ideas for our next visit Grin

BloodyDogHairs · 17/04/2015 22:45

Have a safe flight too.

Thanks both for the updates and recommendations Smile

StrawberryTallCake · 18/04/2015 09:28

Yes thank you for updates Flowers really useful and glad you had such a brilliant time.

Who is out there next? Will you live report? Maybe we should make a list of names and departure dates much like a due date calendar Grin possibly more exciting

BloodyDogHairs · 18/04/2015 10:00

haha I think its me Eeek! 8th June.

ChestyNut · 18/04/2015 10:28

Good idea strawberry how do you do it tho Grin

I'm 21st september.

HermioneWeasley · 18/04/2015 12:53

Will keep watching for future planning!

LucasNorthsTwiglets · 18/04/2015 13:08

Commiserations to those coming home :( Buy yourself one of these when you get back :)

StrawberryTallCake · 18/04/2015 14:22

I think it might be you then Dog! Grin we're off on the 29th June.

Don't really know how to do it Chesty maybe if everyone who wants to update whilst away or share when they're going posts their departure date I could collate into one post - then post it maybe once a week or so?

Hoping jet lag is being kind!!

HermioneWeasley · 18/04/2015 17:28

Managed a few hours sleep on the plane, but DS decided to use my arm as a pillow that that took a while to get any feeling back in it!

Ocado order delivered this PM so we have food to eat.

Am consoling myself by unpacking all my new purchases

Clawdeen · 18/04/2015 21:03

Hermione- I've enjoyed reading about some of your adventures. were you there over the easter holidays? If so, how was the crowd levels/ temperatures?

I'd love to take my Dds next year but am tied to school holidays and really dithering over what time of year to go

Jagsy · 18/04/2015 23:16

Hoping you have both been recovering from your holidays. Now you need to book another one to get over this one!

nikki1978 · 18/04/2015 23:37

Alarm is set for 5am to book Magic Kingdom fast passes. Same for the next few days. Yawn!

BloodyDogHairs · 19/04/2015 11:17

WHAT!! 5AM......is that really the case? there is no-way I'm waking at that time for FP. I've still got 20 days before I can book them Sad

HermioneWeasley · 19/04/2015 11:47

Hi Clawdeen
We were there over Easter hols, which coincided with spring break, so the first week the parks were very busy, but it was manageable. You have to be prepared to plan well in advance so you can prebook fast passes and get there for when the parks open. Second week, walking around the parks still felt busy but the queues were shorter and not so busy at mealtimes etc. when we went to universal in the second week, the park was nearly empty until lunchtime.

Weather was hotter than expected. I had thought that early April in Florida would be mid 20s (results of a few google searches) but it was over 30 every day. Some people told us it was unusually warm, others said it was normal for that time of year.

HermioneWeasley · 19/04/2015 15:07

While there we played "change a letter, ruin a ride" which included such beauties as :
Spice mountain
Chunder mountain
Jurassic parka (ok, one changed and one added)
Storm farce
Dialling dragons
Blight of the hippogriff
The Bulk

But the winner was "Pilates of the Caribbean "

LucasNorthsTwiglets · 19/04/2015 19:31

Dog, I reckon you need to book at 5am if you want Anna & Elsa (and possibly parades/fireworks and Mine Train?) but the others should be fine to not be booked on the dot. Certainly last year I was able to get everything I wanted when I woke up on the day.

Hermione, LOL at that game!

HermioneWeasley · 19/04/2015 19:57

Because Orlando attraction tickets fucked up and sent us out of date tickets, we were 3 or 4 days after our booking window opened before we could pre book our fast passes, and it was spring break/Easter. We got fast passes for everything we wanted, though the Ana and Elsa meet up had gone (fortunately DD's fav is Jasmine). I don't think you need to be up at 5 (though I don't want to be responsible if I say that and you miss out on something....)

BaconAndAvocado · 19/04/2015 20:44

Greetings Disney Fellow Nutcases Smile

I too, have a problem re Fastpasses in that Thomson have told me I won't receive my park tickets until 28 days before I go so,I'll be missing 2 days of booking.

Bearing in mind we're going in August, this may be a problem.......

Heeeeelp!

BaconAndAvocado · 19/04/2015 20:45

That should read Fellow Disney Nutcases Doh!

BloodyDogHairs · 19/04/2015 22:13

Thanks......thankfully we won't be visiting Anna and Elsa Grin so no 5am wake up call for me!
