Ooh errr yes but but I can't tell you exactly without looking them up and I don't have time!! If no one's been along I'll tell you later lol.... BUMP anyway!

biglips · 09/02/2006 13:21

where exactly in liverpool? and how well you know liverpool too

Nemo1977 · 09/02/2006 13:27

as BL says depends where in liverpool you are going. there are lots in various wacky warehouse pubs but then there are a couple that are just for soft play like grandmas in hunts cross or there is a jungle gyms in warrington. Few others around about too.

I'll be based in Old Swan, L13, staying with relatives.

I'm happy to drive anywhere within reason, as they like being in the car.

I have been to Grandma's - ds1 really liked it, but it wasn't so good for ds2 - he's too old for the baby bit and nor old enough for the main playframe.

Any other ideas for days out would be welcome too .

i know of two in north-ish liverpool
time out at aintree - top notch equipment but direst of all dire catering, though there is a pizzahut same retail park thing
bit further north - Kidsplay at Birkdale. rather more refined, decent-ish cafe but smaller

other things
Liverpool Museum is fab, lots of handling collections, bits to play with, and a nice aquarium, nice cafes and its free.
Red Squirrels and beach at Formby Point

hth

what bring you to these parts?

mummytosteven · 09/02/2006 16:03

Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester has a very good children's section, with a small soft play type section in the corner suitable for toddlers.

BROWNY · 09/02/2006 16:09

There's a really good play area in New Brighton, right on the front, next to the small outdoor fair and opposite the castle. It's advertised as the largest softplay in the North West!!

mummytosteven · 09/02/2006 16:11

the new brighton one is only open school holidays and weekends btw.

biglips · 09/02/2006 16:26

seacombe aquarium is fun for the little ones too

as it does have a split soft play... one for babies and toddlers and the other for 3yrs+

biglips · 09/02/2006 16:27

you can go over on the Mersey Ferry from liverpool Pier head to Seacombe pier as thats wheres the aquaruim is and plus a cafe too

puff · 09/02/2006 18:25
