Are your DCs back to face to face lectures?

DD at Warwick found out today that all of her lectures will be online and 50% of seminars and tutorials will be too.
I am livid! Schools and colleges are back to normal. Can't believe I'm paying £9k for another year of her sitting in her room!
What's happening where yours are?

Leeds are doing a mix. My DD is doing maths and music. Music is all F2F and maths lectures are all online, with seminars and tutorials F2F. Working for her

UCL has given my 1st year just 6 face to face sessions since starting. One subject is almost entirely pre recorded lectures. Really really poor. Not all subjects are like this, but it pretty appalling.

@NameGoesHere That's awful - what course are they doing?

My sons have 5 x two hour seminars of about 15 students on their post grad law although one was saying today he learned more last year (100% online) as he did not have to spend time travelling etc. Even so I certainly feel happier he is getting a more classic experience (and is out of the house on 2 days a week..... otherwise they would be home 7 days a week as they are living at home for this course).

Mine is also second year Oxford and I haven't actually asked......

She's certainly having tutorials in person though.

I have kids at 3 different US colleges. All have vaccine mandates. They’re all fully back to face to face. Their Covid rates have been very low.

University of York...Bio Chemistry all lectures still online!!! The dept is claiming 2022 will be online too as they now have challenging timetabling to deal with so being online suits them (not the students) better. Such a shame. The course has 50% satisfaction rating...what a surprise!

I did my entire masters last year online. It was boring, difficult to engage in. I missed a distinction by 1%. I got a terrible grade in a module that they admitted was usually done by spending hours in a lab, we got a five minute video.

I wish to god I had deferred a year.

If you've missed a distinction by 1%, I personally go back and kick up a huge fuss.
