A*and two As. Thank goodness. She was ill with worry after hearing so many marked down.

Drumple I am shocked at how awful it has been handled here in NI. I actually think Peter Weir was v cocky about it. We were all shouting at him on tv!! Hope all is ok for you.

Just picked up this thread. Wishing all your dcs the very best of luck. Dd is a fair way off. But everyone awaiting exam results have been in my thoughts. I remember what a stressful time this was.

Not had CAGS yet but she has an entire book of Sociology timed assessments at A/A*. She’s not over the moon.

DD got her first choice hooray! Now she’s off to school to get her results.

Place confirmed at Durham - but have to get results in school from 9.30. Phew! Good luck everyone else - sounds like we were lucky to be able to get onto Track.

Good news here - A*AA - got his CAGs and is into his first choice - Leeds.

DD downgraded by one grade across all her subjects and has probably lost her place and the year really as she will want to resit. Was predicted AAB and hoping for AAA. Downgraded to BBC. Devastated. She has never been near a B in two of her subjects.

Dd downgraded 1 grade but still good enough for firm offer , so is off to Newcastle

My nerves are shredded..if I was at home I'd have bunged a tot of brandy in me coffee

DS predicted A*AA and got BBB

Can’t get onto UCAS at all to see what’s going on but I presume first choice isn’t happening

Ds downgraded disappointed, lots of his friends in the same boat. One got a grade lower than his mocks

Thinking of you all, so unfair for people downgraded in more than one subject.

DD got two grades lower than both her mocks and CAG. I presume the only reason for this can be that her school traditionally doesn’t do as well as some schools??

She has ABC and M1 in preU - still not got into Track but ABB needed so hopefully that does it. Very happy though.

In a shock move of uncharacteristic efficiency DDs school have emailed her results before 9am. A A star A star

DD got same as her mock results AAB so got her firm Birmingham . All happy here. Good luck everyone else

So hasn't got his Uni choice. Utter bollocks. He worked so hard.

He got AAB in his mocks BTW and goes to a Grammar School who are very fair at predicting grades.
