Can anyone say what points I should be focusing on in this question:

Discuss what we know about Macbeth’s character, particularly with reference to the closing scenes of the play.

Many thanks.

I think the key debate is in the arrogant English imperialism of eating scones at the end of the play.

Added to which Shakespeare clearly had no idea how to pronounce the word.

arrogant English imperialism of eating scones
I thought it was muffins?
English muffins not chocolate ones.

I think Fay Weldon wrote "Go to work on an Egg"

ErrolTheDragon · 01/12/2019 22:58

No, definitely scones - the subtext of disrespect for the Scottish monarchy is clear isn't it?

“ think Fay Weldon wrote "Go to work on an Egg"”

I’d like to do that, if only to see the expressions on the faces of other road users.

"Come what come may -
Time and the hour runs through the roughest day"

refers to the first 60 minutes of the 7 year old's party when they are refusing to come out and play because you bought the wrong cake.
