Benjispruce · 15/08/2019 07:24

Annoying that some are out, some schools are releasing early.

Benjispruce · 15/08/2019 07:25

Positive vibes. Must stop stressing.

fishonabicycle · 15/08/2019 07:28

I didn't know they texted either! Bloody glad they did!

Serin · 15/08/2019 07:32

Ifonly4 A* really is an achievement. Can she appeal to her first choice?

MrsMozartMkII · 15/08/2019 07:33

Benjispruce · 15/08/2019 07:53

Not Durham email- UCAS update. Sorry. Major excitement.

unitednations · 15/08/2019 07:58

DS Still in bed so cant get into UCAS - parenting failure there to not hack his account Wink

But seeing on Twitter people congratulations themselves on getting into that University Sad

No email or nothing yet.

About to drag a 6'4 18 yr old out of bed and down two flights of stairs ... back later.

scarecrowhead · 15/08/2019 07:58

Ds got AAB, got his first choice

Peridot1 · 15/08/2019 08:13

DS wasn’t on checking till 9 but got email from school and came in and woke me at 7.40. Was in a really deep sleep and a weird dream!

BBC here. Hadn’t applied to anywhere but wanted AAB for History at Edinburgh next year so that won’t be happening. To be honest it’s not a good fit for him anyway I don’t think. He will be going for re-marks on a couple if not all three. Was ten marks away from an A in history.

He is a bit disappointed. I’m just relieved!

SauvignonBlanche · 15/08/2019 08:20

I was on Track from about 07:15 Blush it came up at 07:30 that DD was into her firm choice. Grin

No idea about results yet, i’ll take her for her requested McDonalds breakfast 🤢 then toddle in.

unitednations · 15/08/2019 09:49

Checked UCAS when he finally got out of bed 10 mins before we headed to school.

UCAS confirmed his first choice and his results were a bonus.

Very pleased. Looks like he will defer for a year though.

LoafofSellotape · 15/08/2019 10:00

Ds got into his first choice, big relief!

I feel wrecked HmmGrin

I've got to go through this again next year with DC2 Shock

Serin · 15/08/2019 10:20

Unitednations Yes we are doing it all again next year too Grin
DS got what he needed and is off to Wales to do adult nursing. We couldn't be prouder.
McDonalds was doing a roaring trade when we dropped in for McMuffins.
Isnt Nandos doing free meals today if they take their results in?

Benjispruce · 15/08/2019 11:50

Well done loaf I’m shattered too!

unitednations · 15/08/2019 13:07

Rejected from Oxbridge - their loss 😏

TootingLate · 15/08/2019 13:41

Not sure I can cope with all this another twice though (in three then two years). Exhausting.
