University Entry requirements

My daughter has just finished her AS levels and is starting to arrange uni visits with a view to starting a degree in Autumn 15. We have looked on the UCAS site and got a list of degrees she is interested in, the problem is most of them seem to suggest the entry requirements are AAB.
Even the ex polys seem to say you need BBB, the problems is I think my daughter is probably a CCC girl!
So what do we do? do uni's ever lower their requirements or is she out of luck?

You disagree with my comment that students should be able to manage life without Mum and Dad

What I was disagreeing with is that said that university is the place to learn this.

Why is it not? I am not suggesting a lecturer should teach it, but surely most young people acquire these skills away from home and study at the same time? The student is away for at least 3 years. Where else will they learn to manage their lives without Mum and Dad around all the time to pick up the pieces? Those that stay at home are far more mollycoddled. I think the most employable students study effectively and manage their lives effectively too. They hand in their work on time, run a house/flat, look after their finances, shop and cook, run societies, do sport, and generally turn into super people. University is a great place to turn out the most employable and self reliant young people. Maybe yours does not aspire to this but most do.
