ds2 wants to apply, he is capable afaik. He's now y5, has level 5s in all core subjects and reading age beyond the scale for that particular test (so 16+) last year. He doesn't appear to know he's clever but likes the idea of that school and its opportunities. pointers would be most welcome

Hello. Can anyone recommend a tutor in knowsley area that can tutor for the Bluecoat exam. We are looking at the 2024 admissions. This is all new to me..Do they tend to come to your home? Any advice would really be appreciated. Thanks 😊

My daughter is in year 4 now and is starting to do some prep work for Bluecoat. We are using a lovely teacher called Beth and it’s online group work. She gets some homework and the groups are 3-4 children. I’ve told her it’s really competitive and there is a strong possibility she may not get in but the work will help with the senior school she gets in to anyway.
