You could have internal piles and not know it. Or a small anal fissure. Ring NHS direct immediately.

When they say piles, fisil, they mean "hemorrhoids (HEM-uh-roids)" btw

I would know if I had piles, wouldn't I? But I didn't know about internal piles. I did give birth 3 months ago, so it's not impossible.

I had surgery a few years back for anal fistulae. I was discharged about 7 years ago, but maybe it's connected?
