Shiney shiney, shiney boots of leather- crack the whip with the healthy eating thread...

...Come and be a Venus In Fake Furs (with a nod to any vegetarians, who may enjoy the odd Quorn fillet...)on our healthy eating thread, and watch yourself vanish before your very eyes, if that is your aim!

We are supporting each other to lose weight, or just eat well and get fit- but we do like a bit of a laugh along the way, so if you are interested in joining Shiney and the other regulars here and be in the gang, just drop in and post as much as you can- the thread moves fast!

All welcome- the only quiches round here are the contraband in my fridge

bellavita · 04/11/2009 21:53

It has come back now, I am online.

wastingaway · 04/11/2009 21:55

Jet, how can you worry that we'd think badly of you and then tell us such a lovely story?

I watch True Blood, it's very, er, visceral.

I've done three days sticking to my points and going for a walk.

jetforkesandbonfires · 04/11/2009 22:06

dating in the dark maybe thats my answer

and thanks wasting

jaquelinehydeTheBonfireToffee · 04/11/2009 22:25

Jet dating in the dark, no chance with me, they like to get hands on in that programme I believe. I think the fact they wouldn't be able to get their arms round me might give me away

EinsteinBentLight · 05/11/2009 07:05

sneaks in, gives thread a quick clean, runs away again.

jetforkesandbonfires · 05/11/2009 08:12

morning peeps

Minijets first afternoon at school nurersy today - she is going one afternoon a fortnight to settle in a bit - not that i think she will have any problem settling, its all she talks about lol! Will be interesting to see how she changes from afternoons to mornings though, when she starts properly in January

jetforkesandbonfires · 05/11/2009 08:15

oh, and i am getting a cold, with a blocked nose While it is only a cold, a blocked nose does mean i cant use my CPAP machine for my sleep apnea, and therefore cant sleep properly, so end up really really tired So am a little cheesed off

hellsbelles · 05/11/2009 08:59

morning all! Thread is looking clean - thanks Einstein

What's everyone up to - I'm at home today so enjoying having a bit of time with DD who is on cheeky and perfectly kissable form today!

Lizzylou · 05/11/2009 09:02

Hello all, thanks for the dust up Einstein.

Sorry about your cold, Jet.

Hells, wish I had a day of snuggling a lovely baby instead of work. Mind you am glad the house is empty the boys have been bonkers this morning (since 5.30am grrr).

Off to do some work, will definitely fit a run in today.

VinegarTitsOnFire · 05/11/2009 09:22

Hello, looks nice and tidy in here, have we hired a cleaner?

Poor Jet, wrap up warm and have a hot lemon dear

hellsbelles · 05/11/2009 09:27

poor jet - hope you feel better.

Lizzy - day has slightly downgraded already as pesky work has found it's way to me (should never have checked my email)!

V. impressed on the intention to run - enjoy!

TrillianAstra · 05/11/2009 09:27

Morning all, was round at ex-housemates last night, did I miss some bitching?

VinegarTitsOnFire · 05/11/2009 09:33

No bitching on this thread Trill

TrillianAstra · 05/11/2009 09:35

to you too

VinegarTitsOnFire · 05/11/2009 09:37

I think should have been called 'cats bum face' instead of a 'I have nothing to say on this matter face'

TrillianAstra · 05/11/2009 09:38

I think it looks a bit like a 'trying to look innocent' face.

VinegarTitsOnFire · 05/11/2009 09:42

I think it looks like Big Bird from seseme streets face

hellsbelles · 05/11/2009 09:59

Morning trills - only a tiny weeny bit of itching (as the netmums would say)....but of course i have

jetforkesandbonfires · 05/11/2009 10:01

well done on the run Lizzy

i have just spent the last 20 mins learning to fold my fitted sheets from the fab thread in Good Housekeeping

The actual video on youtube is only 2 1/2 mins, but i am a bit of a slow learner

hellsbelles · 05/11/2009 10:03

oh jet - I saw that too - and I'm to say I was equally excited by it! What is the world coming to!
