...Come and be a Venus In Fake Furs (with a nod to any vegetarians, who may enjoy the odd Quorn fillet...)on our healthy eating thread, and watch yourself vanish before your very eyes, if that is your aim!

We are supporting each other to lose weight, or just eat well and get fit- but we do like a bit of a laugh along the way, so if you are interested in joining Shiney and the other regulars here and be in the gang, just drop in and post as much as you can- the thread moves fast!

All welcome- the only quiches round here are the contraband in my fridge

loving all the new names

Jac - will post the dvds off tomorrow

I have been quite good today, as lack of money means no trips to shops/chocolate etc. Had a lovely healthy(ish) tea at church this afternoon (its a toddler afternoon session once a month - minijet loves singing "Jesus love is very wonderful") and drastcally reduced my diet coke intake.

Oh, and i have exciting news.........

Was messing about with the girls earlier - guess what............

I can bend over and actually reach my toes!!!! With straight legs and everything That must be the first time in at least 12 years then - so very yet still very

Can some of you please join treasure mania on FB I'm desperate for more friends on it, I can't bloody well move anything!!

Help me.

VineGuyfawkesFeltMyTits · 01/11/2009 23:38

Oh me too

I need 10 friends to move a statue

jaquelinehydeTheBonfireToffee · 01/11/2009 23:44

Also I am toying with the idea of making some peppermint creams for adult family members for Christmas. I could do all pretty colours, in pretty little organza bags with ribbon ties.

I'm sure it would cost much to make a load, I could even just use pretty tissue paper as packaging if the organza etc worked out expensive.

The question is, does that all sound a bit too naff. I'm not an amazing maker of things but I'm sure I can't go wrong with peppermint creams. It will stop me feeling so bad about not getting anyone anything.

Any ideas about other equally simple things to make would be helpful. Warning my secret santa may well get some of whatever I make

DreamsInPyrotechnics · 01/11/2009 23:46

I love peppermint creams, and would take them over smellies any day. Posh/thoughtful wrapping makes an enormous difference.

jaquelinehydeTheBonfireToffee · 01/11/2009 23:46

Vinny I've only got 3 friend on it and the fewest you need to move something is 5.

It really annoys me having to move onto another map, when there are things that need to be done on the last one

Oh and just because he brings you chocolate, doesn't mean you have to eat it
