...Come and be a Venus In Fake Furs (with a nod to any vegetarians, who may enjoy the odd Quorn fillet...)on our healthy eating thread, and watch yourself vanish before your very eyes, if that is your aim!

We are supporting each other to lose weight, or just eat well and get fit- but we do like a bit of a laugh along the way, so if you are interested in joining Shiney and the other regulars here and be in the gang, just drop in and post as much as you can- the thread moves fast!

All welcome- the only quiches round here are the contraband in my fridge

bellavita · 01/11/2009 18:48

DIB - are your initials RR?

DreamsInBinary · 01/11/2009 18:48

I was!

Even when I find you on the shiney cult, your name is in black and I can't click. [stalker emoticon...]

DreamsInBinary · 01/11/2009 18:49

They are. A very Welsh name.

SparklyAlice · 01/11/2009 18:52

You are both friends with me, initials C E E

bellavita · 01/11/2009 18:54

I think, maybe it is well I know it is - my settings. I do not want DH's arsehole lovely sisters looking to see if they can see pics of the boys etc. Just over 6 years ago, (a long story and I will not bore you) but DH's mum told him to get out and never go back or take our boys to see her again. Unfortunately his nasty sisters sided with his mum, so I don't want them every wondering what the boys are like now and doing a search.

I will add you.

DreamsInBinary · 01/11/2009 18:55

Right, off to do bedtime. Speak later

VineGuyFawkesFeltMyTits · 01/11/2009 18:59

dusted off my old bonfire night name

vastingavay · 01/11/2009 19:04

I need a Bonfire Night name!

Pics of last night's Wii madness have appeared on FB now, just been laughing/cringing.

SqueezyFawkingBonfire · 01/11/2009 19:19

VastingForATreason

DreamsInBinary · 01/11/2009 19:37

Am now friends with Bella

Iggi999 · 01/11/2009 19:40

Oh darn it just getting used to my "real" name again and it's time for another one! We don't really "do" Guy Fawkes where I'm from so may stay untouched by it all.
Made some crack about a "cock" last night in pub, friends looked embarassed/horrified and I remembered suddenly I was not on mumsnet!

DreamsInBinary · 01/11/2009 19:43

Nope, nothing

bellavita · 01/11/2009 19:44

at DIB!

I'm a bit crap at the old seasonal name business but I do like giving it a bash

DreamsInBinary · 01/11/2009 19:52

I forgot to say, a very exciting thing happened whilst on holiday.

We had been out for lunch and passed an art gallery on the way home. A car full of fractious children + increasingly stressed dh meant I promised to be no longer than two minutes, but I had to go in because they had the name of my favourite painter on the sign. Ran in, and tried to take in all the paintings when an elderly gentleman came in and started talking to me. I was quite curt (had limited time and I really, really wanted to see everything) and then he mentioned somethng about 'his work'. It was him and was his gallery

I was so excited I babbled like a fool before sprinting out

Iggi999 · 01/11/2009 19:52

Read that as IggiONbonfire Squeezy - ouch!

DreamsInBinary · 01/11/2009 19:55

"A bit crap"? Pfft!

So says she of the unforgettable SqueezyCheesyCock

SqueezyFawkingBonfire · 01/11/2009 19:56
