It's weird you're getting worse with the antibiotics SEA. Give it another day or two and if no better insist on getting tested for glandular fever. A sore throat wich doesn't respond to antibiotics is often a sign of GF.

wow only just read this and im exactly same but maybe a day or two behind been to docs this morning and on antibiotics but cant swollow either and so havent eaten all day, think maybe time for soup.

oh i hope not ledodge. only started taking the abs yesterday.

i think it's some sort of bug going round. a friend of dp's has been off work for a week with the same thing. my temp seems to be ok atm too. think i sweated it out of me last night! was soaked

How are you doing now SEA - DH has been taking ABs for a week now and the tonsil is still swollen.

He thinks he'll go to the Doctors on Tuesday.

seem to be better now, was the most painful thing i've ever had! especially the temperature thing.

get some ABs babybarrister i dread to think how i'd be now if i hadn't got them really early .

Hiya girlies, I’m 10 weeks pregnant and I have just ONE swollen lymph node in my neck it feels like I’m swallowing razor blades. They came with a headache and aching neck but that seems to be drifting now :( anyone else suffered with this problem? I’ve been taking 2 paracetamols to ease the pains which seem to help for the littlest time!
