22 weeks without knowing your pg

wow, lol and congrats

OracleInaCoracle · 09/11/2008 09:28

pmsl, congrats m'love!

Nbg · 09/11/2008 10:27

I did wonder Upwind.
Could be worth a shot?

fanjolina · 09/11/2008 11:55

the Clearblue ones only give three brackets of when conception was, 1-2, 2-3 or 3+ weeks ago. I think the OP is aware it was more than 3 weeks ago - but maybe she could ask Clearblue to make one especially for her, with 21-22, 22-23, or 23+ on

LilRedWG · 09/11/2008 12:38

I said 21 weeks - does that make me the winner?

Sorry - am still overexcited.

Nbg · 09/11/2008 12:40

Thought it was a too good to be true gadget

These companies just don't think of these situations do they.

kid · 09/11/2008 12:47

Just been reading this thread, 22 weeks without knowing?!
I was the size of a house by 22 weeks with DD.

Congratulations, good luck with the scan, what a wonderful but shocking surprise

phdlife · 09/11/2008 14:03

But I don't think it can be 22 weeks - surely I'd feel a bit more movement?? There's some but not that much, have been worrying about it. As well as feeling, well, a bit freakish!

OP posts:
Upwind · 09/11/2008 14:07

Anterior placenta can prevent movement from being felt, without indicating any problems at all....

FeelingLucky · 09/11/2008 14:11

Congratulations!
I'd been following your night weaning threads and am pleased to know that conception whilst still breastfeeding can happen.
Very

BTW - maybe you feel little movement because you're too active looking after a toddler?

EnchantedWithEdwardCullen · 09/11/2008 14:15

Oh wow!!
22 weeks???

CarGirl · 09/11/2008 14:16

Only just seen this thread.

I thought it was VERY obvious you were pregnant, but I guess we can blame pregnancy hormones on being a bit dim!

CONGRATULATIONS

Nbg · 09/11/2008 15:14

PHD, I've had 3 children and I can honestly say that I didn't feel movement till I was approaching my third trimester.

As Upwind said, an anterior placenta can prevent you feeling movement.

ilove · 09/11/2008 15:16

Haha...I got to nearly 6 months without knowing with my 4th!

TheMuppetMuggle · 09/11/2008 18:12

Red - i said 22+3 so don't get too excited

LilRedWG · 09/11/2008 18:42

If the baby is facing your back you won't feel many kicks. Okay - I now think 38 weeks.

phdlife · 09/11/2008 20:31

oh yeah - I had an anterior placement last time so it may well be that - think my brain is so stressed with the move (here's a tip - NEVER move house with an 18m old. He sits in the box, on the box, he puts his pasta/cars/teddy in the box. He gets everything out again, he runs away with half of whatever you just packed, he wants the tape, he wants the box open again, he wants to help write the box number, he wants to help write on the wall, he comes in carrying your undies - it's knackering I tell you) it's just inventing worries now.

thank you Ilove, for making me feel better!

oh and Red - you're not funny, I never liked you and you smell.

oh my farking god! Still - half way there already though

My SIL didnt know she was pg with her first until she was 6 months gone. SHe didnt have regular periods so didnt know she'd 'missed' one.

ilove · 10/11/2008 08:25

Oh the funniest but was when I realised I was 6 months pregnant and my daughter was 7 months old! I ended up with 2 under 10 months!

ShowOfHands · 10/11/2008 08:31

"the funniest bit was when I realised I was 6 months pregnant and my daughter was 7 months" Is that funny ha ha ilove or funny twitch a bit?

I love this thread. It's lovely. What a fabulous health problem to have.

NorthernLurker · 10/11/2008 19:47

Wow - phd - 22 weeks and it could be more?? Keep us updated.......

ilove · 10/11/2008 20:37

it was definitely twitch a bit! And I've ended up with them just 9.5 months apart as the youngest one was early...lol!

phdlife · 10/11/2008 22:44

quite possibly THE best pg story I've ever, ever heard!
