Bad cold virus

Been suffering with this for past few days. Chesty sandpaper cough, aches, temperature. Stuffy nose. Tested for Covid twice it’s not that. Anyone else got this?

I'm suffering with something awful. Keep thinking surely I must be getting better soon and nope, it's horrible. Day 9 now and I've had to rearrange my flu jab about 4 times because I feel so ill.

Me too! I’m so glad I’m not alone, I was getting worried. I’ve been ill for 2 weeks now, horrible dry but chesty cough and phlegm, tiredness, headache, blocked sinuses, no energy and also the disconnected feeling someone else mentioned earlier. My son also has it but is fine and his happy self whilst I feel like I’m dying.

I’ve got it too, it’s awful. My nose and sinuses are my weak spot so I always suffer badly with colds but I’m exhausted, and I see that dizziness has been mentioned. I’ve not had it since the full cold symptoms started but in the couple of days before I had several brief - 2 to 3 seconds long - dizzy spells which has only ever happened once before and that was just before I first had Covid (haven’t tested this time, haven’t had the energy to go out to get a test).

I had both flu and Covid jabs nearly two weeks ago as I have a weakened immune system.

I really wish I'd got my flu jab earlier. Lesson learned for next year. I have several chronic illnesses and my partner left me on the 3rd day of this illness so I'm absolutely ruined trying to single parent on top of all this. Feel like I'm in a special kind of hell right now.
