It started off as a few really small itchy spots and turned into a cluster of them. Then 2nd cluster appeared underneath and not they're travelling up my finger and seem to have hmgone yellow with puss.

Extremely itchy.

Have you done any gardening lately? Some plant saps cause allergic reactions like that, particularly when later exposed to the sun. Best get a pharmacist to look at it.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 03/08/2024 10:06

I'd put some antihistamine cream on it and take some orally too and see if it helps. Pharmacist if it doesn't.

MeinKraft · 03/08/2024 10:06

Looks like scabies? Take it to a pharmacist they will know.

Looks like it is possibly Pomphlox eczema.

Sellingbedtime · 03/08/2024 10:40

Are you scratching them? I get little heat bumps like this. If I over scratch them they can get a bit of pus in them

HerLadySheep · 03/08/2024 10:42

I agree it looks very much like pompholyx eczema, I get it on my feet in the summer and it's incredibly itchy. Get some hydrocortisone cream on it, if it gets infected you will need antibiotic steroid cream from the GP.

Fraaahnces · 03/08/2024 10:45

Go to the chemist. It looks like scabies to me. If it is, it’s highly contagious and needs to be treated asap. (You also need to wash all bedding, towels, clothes, etc in super hot water)

ThisBlueCrab · 03/08/2024 10:45

It looks like pomphylox exczema, also known as herpeticum. It's linked to the strain of herpes virus that causes coldsores. Do you suffer with them or been in touch with someone who does?

Unfortunately there isn't much you cam do if it is. Antihistamine to stop the itch and keep it clean and dry.

It can take up to 2 weeks to clear.

Dd has chronic exczema and has had it a few times

kezzykicks · 03/08/2024 10:49

I have this - as others have said it is pomphylox eczema. The first time I had it it was awful, itchy and sore all over my hands and feet. Now I just get flair-ups when I am stressed and they have never been so bad.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 03/08/2024 10:51

Hand, Foot and Mouth?

AvonCallingBarksdale · 03/08/2024 10:53

Pomphylox I’d say. I’ve had it on my feet, extremely itchy!

RolaColaLola · 03/08/2024 10:56

Hard to tell from photos alone. Are there blisters? Is there any pain or is it itchy? Do you feel at all unwell in yourself? Achy? Looks like it could be pompholyx, but another possibility is shingles. Either way see, or speak to your GP, if it’s pompholyx some strong steroid cream would help, and if shingles an assessment as to your risk and whether you need antivirals is needed.

TomatoSandwiches · 03/08/2024 10:56

Looks a bit like shingles tbh. Do you feel unwell?

Applestrudel71 · 03/08/2024 11:17

Another vote for pompolyx

HeySummerWhereAreYou · 03/08/2024 11:20

Could be any of the above. But it looks a bit like urticaria to me @ItchyPi As pps have said, take some anti-histamines. It's very likely something caused by the heat and humidity. Go to the pharmacy and show them, and ask them if they have a suitable cream that will stop the itching and inflammation.

Lumirubin · 03/08/2024 11:23

Looks like shingles. Have you had any tingling sensation the past couple of days?

Jennalong · 03/08/2024 11:25

This is my pompolyx .

I agree with the pompolyx as suggested above.

BlunderMifflin · 03/08/2024 12:43

Pompholyx eczema, mine looked exactly the same at the beginning and these pics show how bad it got before I went to the doctor! Don't let it get this bad please, the itching and soreness was horrendous. They gave me a steroid cream that cleared it up very quickly.

I feel absolutely fine. No other symptoms at all.

Just incredibly itchy.

I have gotten the little spots on my fingers before but just like 3 or 4 of them. Never like this.

I will go GP on Monday
Thanks.

This. I usually get blessed this time of year. Surprised I haven't yet tbh.

changedusernameforthis1 · 03/08/2024 13:55

Another vote for pompholyx eczema, I get it often. Steroid cream from my GP is the only thing to help with mine.

Cocolapew · 03/08/2024 13:56

I agree with pompholyx, I get it on my fingers, the itch drives me made. I usually use cortisone cream and cover them.
