As opposed to doing what ?

AFAIK there is little than can be done about warts. I know they can be 'frozen' off, can't they, but left alone they will go of their own accord.

TBH, if it is not causing her any distress or catching on clothes etc, I'd leave it be.

I didn't know whether you meant you were going to try and do something to it at home, like thos paint on 'remedies' you can get from chemists etc or taking her to the GP.

NomDePlume · 14/03/2008 10:18

I didn't bite your head off.

I tell you what, I'll just fuck off, shall I.

i think warts are caused by the same virus as cold sores arent they? they tend to get in broken skin and dd1 bites her nails so i think thats whats happened

OP posts:
nailpolish · 14/03/2008 10:25

did htey just disappear fio?

NomDePlume · 14/03/2008 10:25

Oh dear

DD is magic thanks.

Work is farking chaos ! I am being slowly psychologically mangled by the stupid 18 week RTT guidelines. Bloody NHS. Bloody NICE (how's that for an inappropriate set of initials?!).

pigleto · 14/03/2008 10:25

leasve warts alone. they generally cause less harm than the cure and go away on their own.

I have also cleaned one toilet this am.

dd has one just under her eye and keeps picking at it. Can't make her leave it alone but the GP says it is too small to attack. It woudl need to be bigger then picked open with tweezers or something. (!?! how can you do this just directly under the eye?

I would do a paint-on thing if it was safe near the eye though otherwise I see this wart spreading via her fingernails all over the place.

do they really go away on their own, all types? Because dd had an outbreak on her bum and we had a huge hassle getting them all broken open and cleaned out over and over
