Home skin tag removal stories? (Panicking!)

I've had a skintag on my left nipple for 20 years. All DC breastfed so putting it down to this. I don't have tags elsewhere.
It's never been sore but I HATE the sight of it and have always been a bit self-conscious of it.
STUPIDLY...
STUPIDLY!!!!.....
Last night, fortified by Aldi's bargain Cava, I decided to look up home-removal techniques. Then I decided to ignore all the advice to leave well alone. Then I grabbed dental floss and tied the mother of all knots around it.

Now I'm panicking. I know it's a process I have to see through (I did try and take the floss off without success).

There's a bit of pain and huge regret.

Please chip in if you've any advice or a similar experience - I feel REALLY stupid.

Morning! For anyone who was awaiting results before they went ahead with the ever-lasting minty dental floss...

We had detachment on day 6!

No scar, no blood, no explosion - just as you wise, calm ones kindly advised.

Loving my new look....

I think this might have inspired me!

The practice nurse at my surgery did mine with cryo something.

Tea tree oil from Body Shop sorted mine. Had something large and sticky out behind my ear. Couldn't see it, so just stuck oil on regularly. It dropped off in pieces over several days...... sorry for the 🤢, but hugely satisfying.

I'm now trying same with some keratosis but doesn't seem to be doing anything.......
