I woke up with these rust colour marks all over my hands.

I haven't eaten anything different to normal and I haven't touched anything out of the ordinary.

I went to sleep and they were there when I woke up. How????

I’d schedule in an appointment with your GP @mawbroon, it might just be one of those weird and wonderful things our bodies do be equally it could be a sign of something that needs looking at a bit closer. If you’ve got a GP whose likely to be uninterested actively ask for a dermatology appointment although there’ll been a wait I imagine.

I have a vague recollection of a medication that can do this to your sweat but can’t for the life of me remember what.

I already have a routine appointment booked in for next week, Cornetto. I'll mention it then.

Someone I used to be friends with had this once and apparently it was an excess of beta carotene. Her diet was basically big piles of steamed veg and not much else.

Were you weeding the garden with your armpits and hands? Looks a lot like the stains you get from dandylion sap.

The armpit ones look less rusty so maybe they are something else?

Bit of an update...

I was at the doctor today for something else. I mentioned it to her and she said she had only ever seen it once before.
I had bloods done last week and given that they were all fine, she said as a one off, it wasn't anything to worry about and could well be something I'd eaten.
