.....in mosquito bites and I can't take anymore of it, frankly.
Apart from the odd bite on holidays abroad in previous years, I've never really had a problem with them. But for at least the last six weeks they've been attacking me and seem to find me especially tasty as DH has one or two but I have at least 20!
I can't help scratching them and my arms and legs are a state.
I know I could just Google products and of course I have, but there's nothing like unbiased opinion so please can you recommend some things that really, really work?
I am hoping for something to prevent new bites and also the best thing to put on existing, sore huge bites!
Much love, gratitude and my first born (if you want a sarky teen) posted out to the winner! 😁

Oh and DEET containing stuff so I don't get bitten in the first place!

Similar to hot spoon but more portable! We swear by it. medicinemarketplace.com/bite-away-insect-bite-sting-healer/

@Wishingwell75

Thank you all so much! I have tried the usual lavender oil etc but didn't work for me either. So, ice, apple cider vinegar here I come followed by all the other suggestions! Definitely something extreme about these horrors this year, I agree. X
Honestly ditch the natural remedies. There's no point if you have loads of bites!

You need a product containing 40% deet.

For the bites you need an antihistamine tablet and anti histamine bite cream.

Good luck!

Oh also, oregano essential oil and tea tree! They nixed my hideous swollen infected horse fly bites really well. On top of antihist tablets.

I had 22 bites last week, and the itching was unbearable. DD1 was also isolating due to a Covid contact, and as DH doesn't WFH, I was stuck in the house with toddler DD1 and baby DD2 while itching incessantly. Ended up taking an antihistamine, applying steroid cream and spraying myself liberally with Avon Skin So Soft as a preventative. They are getting better, but I'm covered in marks!
